I ordered these LED lights out of desperation, since my old one broke unexpectedly. I knew that I needed to act ASAP before my plants start to wither and die. And it turned out to be such a bargain! The lamps haven’t let me down, considering we have hardly turned them off so they’ve been working heavy-duty. The arms are apparently quite sturdy since they’ve stayed in place! This is exactly what my hanging plants need. They’ve really grown more beautifully than ever.What I adore most about this product is the dimmable settings that I can tailor to the different needs and stages of growth of my plants. I appreciate such flexibility, since I can just adjust the intensity of the light.Even I couldn’t believe it at first, but I have successfully sown many seeds using this LED lamp. That’s why I couldn’t recommend this brand enough.For something relatively inexpensive, I was expecting very little. Instead, we were blown away! Shipping was on time, and the packaging was superb. I wish they’d give more discounts for bulk orders, though, because I am thinking of gifting this to some of my friends who are crazy about their indoor gardens.It looks like I won’t be buying it again anytime soon because it seems it would last for years. However, if you don’t want your indoor plants to perish from the absence of a decent light source, you will love this LED lamp as much as I do!

Shipped from China? The light has bendable arms are made of metal and clip is strong. It look nice with the chrome goose neck for adjusting the light bars. Plug in and light up for my African Violets. No timer to turn on, only off. The light didn't work after one day. Died after one day. Contacted seller for return. Seller want me to pay return shipping.

UPDATE... Light now turns off on its own. It's not the timer setting, it just stopped working correctly. I am very disappointed and there is no way to return or exchange the item, so for now- 1 star because of this. :( I am so sad.This light is awesome. I really didn’t read the description that well, and I was so happy and surprised by the features and benefits when I received it. First it’s pretty cool looking, the clamp is chrome colored so it doesn’t look as cheap as some of the other lights. It has three different light settings, red, blue and a combination of the two- which is great depending on what kind of indoor growing you’re doing. It also has a dimming and brightening switch and a built-in timer. It’s quite easy to bend around in because the lights are a wand it covers a pretty big area. It’s really cool I kind of want another one- in fact, I think I’m going to order another one. I suppose only time will tell how well my plants respond to this light but is long as it works as it supposed to, the light itself is really neat.

I have used these lights for about three weeks. I purchased two Angel Trumpet plants. The problem for SC, which is a growing zone of 8, they will die in the winter. This winter I brought them inside the garage and used the BriteLabs LED Grow Light. The lights are long and you can adjust the position as the lights are flexible. So far, the plants are still alive and I can see new growth. I am gambling that they will make it through the winter. The lights also provide a bit of heat which helps in their growth. Good luck.

I loved this product until one day the lights started shutting off before they were supposed to. Frustrated, I thought they were broken, but when I inspected it it turned out that they were turning off because they were shorting/burning and it was a safety feature.I’m grateful there was a safety feature and they didn’t get the chance to damage anything, but it’s still scary.As you can see in the photos, the power adapter melted, and when I touched it it was unbelievably hot to the touch. The inside of the USB cord is burned and brown. Pretty scary stuff.

I live in an upper apartment so gardening is tough. In the summer I have some flower boxes out on my deck that I use to raise jalapenos, but with winter coming up, I have to move them indoors. I set the plants up on a wire shelving rack, and bought three of these lamps to supplement the limited sunlight from the living room windows. The clips hold firm, and the lamp heads stay where they are after I position them. The long necks and free rotation made it easy to ensure my jalapenos get enough light. It's still a little soon to tell how effective they are vs. just the ambient window light, but I'd wager that there's a 100% chance that the plants are better off WITH the lights, than without. They generate very little heat, and those convenient timers mean I can set them in the morning, and let them do their thing while I'm at work. Then they'll shut off automatically in the evening to give the plants an authentic day/night cycle. Definitely recommend this!

I have had this light now for about 2 weeks. It is easy to use and the timer seems to work great for me (as opposed to a lot of bad reviews I have seen). As far as functionality, I am using it on a Venus Fly Trap that is in it's dormant period, so I cannot speak to whether or not the light is working well for photosynthesis. This is the reason for the 4 stars. Maybe, if I remember, I will post a follow up as the weather changes.***UPDATE***I have had this light now for nearly 2 months and I can say with some confidence that the light spectrums used are not great for plants to thrive. This is the main source of light for my Venus Fly Trap and the plant looks the worst it has. It has even stopped feeding and now I am not sure what to do. Not sure I can recommend this product.
