Amazing item to decorate your cakes

This set has absolutely everything I need and then some. It's made of high quality materials. The storage in the box is convenient, allowing me to pull the set out of the cabinet and get straight to creating in the kitchen. The syringe is very easy to fill with cream thanks to its large opening. There's a clear and interesting manual with recommendations and a complete list of information. It also helps to decorate deviled eggs and some garnishes, which is an additional bonus. I'm thrilled. Highly recommended 100%

There a lot of things in this kit to go through, and there are some pros and cons for sure. The main component, the icing gun- seems decently well made. I am not 100% if you're not supposed to use icing bags with this or not; I would assume not, however, for thinner icing you will definitely have more of a mess when using this and clean up will be a little more tricky. Thankfully everything comes apart and you can clean inside every nook and cranny fairly easily. You might not be able to use this with very thick icing or anything dough-like. (I wanted to know if I could use this to make perfect droplets of thick chocolate truffle filling, but that was too dough-like and would not go through very well.)The part that pushes the icing out is not airtight, which does make it easier to use but will make it messier once you're done using it. If you want to write things in icing, you can use the smaller silicone+plastic syringe for steadier linework. The scrapers are a little sharp, so do be careful and definitely monitor any children using this kit. Most of the nozzles are made from a sheet bent into shape, which can make them less durable than nozzles that are a solid piece, but they're perfectly fine to use nonetheless (just might not last years of use).The spatulas are fine, they are thin and have plastic handles, but will great do for a beginner kit and to get icing smooth and flat. The biggest downside to me is the silicone cupcake liners; as I was excited to finally have some, but they smell awful and are not 100% silicone. I wouldn't want the smell of these liners to transfer into any cupcakes, so I wouldn't really suggest using them at all. Overall, this is a nice beginner kit but should be used with adult supervision if teaching children to decorate cakes.

I’ve never been good at using piping bags and I really wanted to make my son’s first birthday smash cake so I looked for alternatives and I’m very happy to have found this. Easy to use, wish they sold the tube separately so I didn’t have to wash it out every time I needed a different color but I’ll take that over the hassle of using bags
