I recently got my hands on the Topdon TS004 Thermal Monocular and I have to say, it's pretty impressive for its price range! Designed for outdoor adventures, wildlife spotting, and even some professional use, this little gadget packs a punch. So this is the best deal on the market for thermal monoculars it really is. The unit works pretty good battery life is acceptable good refresh rate and clarity. The app is kinda cheesy and I wouldn't bother with it personally. But the product is quality. My only reservation comes from my own expectations, I kinda thought it would be like in the movies and stuff but it's not. You can't really see through much of anything, except Maybe where the 2x4s are inside your walls because they store heat. But your not going to see a person in the other side of a door or anything like that. Umm. You should avoid looking at people below the belt because yea you can see the heat signature of what's body and what's clothes. As far as tactical use, it's got great zoom and works well on that regard as a spotters scope, but the field of view is a bit too narrow for using it like indoors to see a burglar in the dark. Alot of stuff has heat in it which can make it hard to tell what something is if there is a cinder block wall behind it.

This monocular is so cool. I could see a herd of deer about a quarter mile away and you could see them moving it even measures the distance from the item you’re looking at it is well-made and very rugged. I like that it has a quarter 20 screw mount on the bottom. It appears with the phone real easy and you can record video or pictures. I’ll wear glasses and sometimes it’s hard to see through binoculars or monoculars. This unit has an adjustment on the side to adjust the focus inside the viewport which helped me a lot. Pretty darn awesome. Have tried several versions of this type item and this is the first one to deliver exceptable results. Rugged, easy to use, as much clarity as you would expect. If you want to know what is in the dark, this is the tool that gets it done. 4 of 5. Needs a built in hand strap to make it easier to hold.

This is a great little 255 thermal monocular. It is adequate for spotting game, easy to use and a good price. The resolution looks close to the $2k 384 scope I use. 🤷‍♂️

I ordered the TS004 at the same time that I ordered a "GOYOJO Thermal Imaging Monocular for Hunting, 15mm Focal Lens 256x192" monocular. The TS004 arrived first and while I was really pleased with the build quality and especially the view through the large screen, I was still leaning towards the GOYOJO monocular because of the removeable battery. However, after the GOYOJO arrived, the quality of image isn't even close to what the TS004 has. Both are great at near distances, but the TS004 soundly beats it in every way at any kind of distances past about 10 yds. While I sincerely wish that the TS004 had a removable battery, I simply could not choose the GOYOJO considering the significantly better nighttime visibility and lighter weight of the TS004. I've already recommended this item to several family members and friends and know of at least two more that have been purchased based on my recommendations - it's truly that good. The TS004 simply hits far above its weight class (cost) when compared to others.

Awesome little tool for hunters. Took it out to the farm this evening to test it out. Very pleased with quality! The deer in the picture are 200+ yards out. The range finger on it might as well be in feet and not yards, way off. The thermal itself is amazing, especially for the price I paid. Definitely recommend to farmers and hunters. Time to test on rabbit and raccoon soon.

I thoroughly loved my Topdon TS004 which I purchased several months ago. Then recently it got caught in a reboot loop. I followed the manufacturers instructions, but nothing helped. Amazon put me in contact with the seller and I was able to return the product, and I received a replacement promptly and it works great. I highly recommend this seller! The communication was excellent! Here are some pictures. Taken during the day in fusion mode 1X--A deer lurking in the woods!! I could not make him out with naked eye in the shadows of the woods. Also a picture of 3 rabbits behind my neighbor's house at 5 am, hot white mode 4X.

All I can say is WOW! Thermal is a game changer watching over the property for predators. Clarity is fantastic. SAR search tool will definitely help in the field searching for people or livestock

Was easy to use and works as it should...

This is an amazing product. Purchased it for my husband. Connects easy to smart phone, so he can record and save his images.

It’s impressive how thermal imaging reveals animals you’d never notice with the naked eye. The device picked up small parts of a deer that were well hidden behind trees, bushes, and shrubs, and the thermal contrast stood out clearly against the background. I’ve tested it once so far and easily located deer in the forest that I wouldn’t have seen otherwise. It even detected grouse (as shown in the video) and other smaller animals surprisingly well. However, I found the stated battery life a bit misleading. The charge dropped from 98% to 70% fairly quickly, which might be due to streaming the thermal image to my iPad. I was also expecting better resolution and zoom, so that was a little disappointing. I was contemplating buying the next model and wish I had gone for it initially.
