Comfortable and hard wearing

Improved over the older fast fit gloves, as now they have soft padding in the knuckle area which makes them more comfortable for daily use and protects your knuckles much better from minor dings, much better then the old ones did with just their normal thin layer of fabric on the knuckles. Always buy fast fit Mechanix, they're surprisingly hard wearing for how thin their material is. I've used them for shooting real guns, archery, bushcraft and manual work. Best value for money gloves, really good for detail work if you have the correct size for you. Can really feel the trigger pull and really feel the string on a bow, unlike any other gloves I've tried. Somewhat waterproof of day 4-5mins, which the older ones were not in anyway waterproof and your hands become wet within less than a minute. No faffing with velcro on your wrist, and are always very secure with their fast fit functionality. I always recommend them to people. They're super light to, I just love them. Great in the summer, and for one hour outdoors in 0C they're fine to! Even 6C I wore them from two hours and could have gone an extra two and been okay! I'm in my 30's though, so double my age and probably half your times before your hands become too cold though. They grip surprisingly well, as I've also used them for gardening with pruning trees and even potting plants. Also cycled and chopped wood with an axe with them, and done car maintenance with them. Anti-grease like properties, they seem to not get sticky from having touch mildly stick things unlike your bare hands and other clothing does. Hand them up to dry or in a window ledge at room temperature for 30mins and they're good to go. You could probably wash the dishes with them, if you don't mind hanging them to dry each time afterwards. They have a loop tab (that you don't notice when wearing them) at the bottom wrist part of each glove, which makes them super easy to carry on carabiners and attached to your belt loops, or backpacks. The gloves will dry when wearing them after 10mins from being completely submerged, just from your body heat the daylight (not even direct sun needed).

Super warm and relatively waterproof

Nice colour- true to size description, good grip and material still allows high level of dexterity. I’ve had a couple pairs of mechanix gloves. I like the fit and feel but I do prefer the models that have the Velcro fastening around the wrist. For the cost though I’d buy these again.
