I have a Samsung UDH smart TV Series 6 MU 6300 - 50 Inch. Nice TV with a great picture. Several months ago the TV would not respond to the remote, and oddly enough the only function the TV would recognize is the on/off switch on the remote. You could not switch the source or volume or anything else. With the TV on, we pulled the plug, turned off the wireless router, etc and re-paired the remote. We should have did a factory reset, but the prior steps seemed to fix it. Then it happended again and again, each time several weeks apart. I was about to junk the TV. I tried this remote instead. It needs no "pairing" and worked right after you put in batteries. I have no idea how this works w/o the pairing option. This is one of the very few items I have purchased that works BETTER than advertized. Totally fixed the issue with the TV! 5-Stars

Our tv was frozen on a station and the remote we had would only change the volume or mute the tv. We had a repair person come out and he checked the tv and said it was the remote so he told usvtonordervthis one from Amazon. We did and everything is working.

Our Samsung remote broke so we needed a new one. I was getting ready to purchase the Samsung remote from their website. I happened to think about looking here on Amazon and found a replacement for less money. I’m glad I did because this remote works perfectly. It was compatible right out of the box with little programming. The solar panel works great with no need to charge it. It is so affordable and works great. Definitely recommend.

This Samsung remote works really well and does exactly what it’s supposed to. My toddler tends to throw everything, and even the original remote broke after about 5 months of buying the TV, so I had to get a replacement. This one is working perfectly so far, and I really hope it survives in my toddler’s hands! Very useful and a good replacement overall.

Have a new Vizio Smart TV. The remote is broken and Vizio won't replace it. Ordered this universal remote with minimal programming. Now, everything works great.

UPDATE TO PREVIOUS REVIEW: I contacted the seller after leaving the 1-star review to see if they would replace the remote that was no longer working. They replied immediately telling me that I needed to pair the remote with the TV, something I didn't have to do when I first got the remote. In case you need to do so, follow these steps: 1. Turn the TV off for several minutes 2. Turn the TV on. 3. Hold down the back and forward buttons at the same time. Do not make the same mistake I did by pressing the two buttons on the right and left of the large circle button. In the row above the volume button, you want the far-left button (I call "U-Turn" button), and the far right (far right), same row. 4. Let it do its flashing red light thing, then you are ready to go. I commend the seller for their prompt response to my complaint, and I have updated my rating to 5 stars accordingly. It worked great until shortly after the return window closed. Bought Aug 19th. It began to malfunction at the end of Sept. I thought maybe the solar charge was not taking, so I charged it by cable. Now it works, but not at all how I want it to. I hit the select button (big one in the middle) and it goes back to the previous selection. Press up or down, and it goes up or down, but not necessarily the direction selected. AND I cannot advance a single frame (up, down, right, or left). It will advance a several, or it might just keep going until it reaches the end of the selections. Sometimes, it will go all the way down, then back up halfway, and back down. All with a brief, single touch.

Great buy and cheaper than the original samsung remote. It worked right out of the box and connected its laptop to the tv. The only thing that doesn’t work like the original remote is when you press and hold volume up or down or change channels holding the button to skip channels it only skips like 3 channels and then it stops. Other than that im ok with the remote.
