Good book. I read this when I was training to become an instructor, and it has some good tips.

Very straight forward ideas and easy to put to use! Great illustrations and user friendly layout. A fantastic addition to any instructors collection.

I am a riding instructor and purchased this book as a resource for my personal library to pull ideas for children's lessons. I like to have as many resources as possible for both my personal training, and the teaching of others, since every individual horse or student is different and learns in different ways. This book is well written and easy to understand. I have applied many of the concepts to my students' lessons, and they have enjoyed practicing concepts from this book. This is one of my top choices out of my resource library, and perhaps my most favorite book on instructing in general. It can also give you ideas for your beginner adult students. It is comprehensive and well written. I would recommend this to anyone just starting out as an instructor, or someone who has a need to learn some concepts involved with teaching children to ride, such as a 4-H instructor (I was a Horse Project leader last year also) or other group that can benefit if they work with children and horses.

Great book for anyone who teaches or hopes to teach others to ride.

This is a really good book for a new instructor. I really enjoyed it.
