Love dress, a little tight. Would recommend size up.

Fit is good, pattern is a little mismatched at rear, but still figure flattering. Will keep it.

TL;DR: A clean, conservative dress that can be dressed up or down and fits well-endowed, curvaceous women. I am 5’8”, 145 lbs, 34D and a medium fit well.Background: I needed a dress for a wedding rehearsal dinner in Las Vegas in August. The groom’s family is rather conservative, so I needed a dress to fit the occasion. I am 5’8”, 145 lbs, 34D, and carry most of my weight on my hips and thighs. I do not wear many dresses, because they often make my hips and boobs look huge and disproportionate to the rest of my body. So, I needed a modest dress that will be curve-flattering, not too busty, suitable for travel and very hot weather.Initial thoughts: The dress came well packaged (see photo). It was in a branded ziplock-type bag composed of thicker plastic. Upon opening and inspecting, the dress had no defects. There were a few wrinkles in the skirt, but they were not super noticeable. The fabric is soft, on the thin side, and has a slight sheen to it. In the sunlight, small fibers are apparent. (This fabric will probably pill with enough wear and washing.) So, not the highest quality fabric, but that is to be expected given the price of the dress. The hemming was fine (no unraveling). The pockets had no holes in them (as I have seen on reviews of other dresses). The tag on the inside of the skirt said “95% cotton, 5% spandex” and to “wash dark colours separately”. The dress itself slipped on easy enough; no zippers or clasps to worry about!The test: Once on, the skirt fabric fell in such a way that it hid my “poochy” belly. The skirt fell to just above my knees. The fabric moves well when walking or dancing. While it is not sheer, I wouldn’t want to wear bright undergarments with this dress. The pink tint of the white flowers hinted at the fact that I tried this dress on with red panties on. I carry a lot of my weight in my hips, so I did not like that the pockets puffed out my hips ever so slightly more (but that is probably just me and an issue I am sensitive too). The pockets will not hold larger cell phone (e.g. the Samsung Note 8) and even putting car keys in them makes it look like there’s a bump on my hip. I probably won’t use the pockets ever.The upper part of the dress fit nicely. It was not too tight and supported my midsection well. The neckline is conservative (aka no peek-a-boo, not even while bending over), but still very flattering. It would go very well with a short necklace. The upper “wrap” does kinda make my chest look a bit saggy (the placing of the hem line is “off”/funny looking), but not enough that anyone else will notice. The armholes are not too big and do not show the “front-of-the-armpit-pouch” I am often concerned about.Final verdict: 4.5 out of 5 stars. The fact that the dress had very few wrinkles upon taking out of the bag bodes well that it will not/hardly wrinkle in my suitcase, making it a great dress to travel with. It is dressy enough for a rehearsal dinner, and I can dress it up even more with tasteful jewelry and cute heels. I can also see myself wearing this in the future as a more casual dress with a wide, white belt at the waist and flats or sandals. I would take off a half star because I do not like the pockets or their location. I gave 5 out of 5 on the total review because the pockets (and putting things in them) are a matter of preference and should not be held against the dress or its manufacturer. Back in 2020 I ordered one of these dresses. It was the best dress ever! It was a cotton blend, so it was super soft and a nice quality material. At the time it didn't have pockets... But that was fine, it was INCREDIBLY comfy and nice and cool. I just ordered 2 more because my old one was getting just that, a little old. Old one was a medium, currently fit medium in dresses, so ordered 2 mediums. I want to love them... But the sizing has changed and definitely runs a little small now, plus one dress fits smaller than the other so consistency is an issue... The material is now very cheap feeling. Not that softer almost cotton feel. Very thin, and the navy blue you can see through both layers of material on the skirt when you hold it up to light. New benefit is that it has pockets now! I didn't realize that when I ordered, so that was a nice surprise. The dresses will work, but just beware this will definitely feel on the cheaper side of items bought off Amazon. Honestly kind of disappointed since I had such a great feeling with/from the old one.

The dress itself was beautiful although a bit short so it required you to have to wear stockings in order to look professional and nice in it. It still ran a bit small and the chest showed more than I would like so I have to pin it together.

I love the dress it's just alittle to big.

Great fun light weight summer dress

I washed this dress once and the fabric is all faded and looks very worn/pilled. Past the return date or I. Would have returned.

I am quite happy with this dress. I like the shape on me. However, it is 95% cotton and only 5% spandex so I think the skirt area will tend to be a bit wrinkled-looking. Still, not bad for the price.This is a Size Medium. I am 5’3” with a 36.5” bust and weigh 137lbs. The fit is good and I’m glad I didn’t order Large.

Very nice dress but its not 100% cotton, its 95% polyester 5% spandex!!!! Still thinking if Ill keep it or return it.....

I love the pockets. It's a decent dress. I bought it in black as well. They are very different materials though. I preferred this material to the one I bought in black

I bought the floral dress first and I loved it so I bought it in another colour (pink) and it does not fit the same. The pockets are weird on the pink one. I’m so disappointed because it’s so pretty. So I don’t know how to rate this because the first one is very flattering. And I always get compliments when I wear it, but the second one, not so much. I give it a 5 star for the floral one and a 3 star for the pink one.
