Built like a tank
If you're on the larger side and looking for an office chair, I can highly recommend this one. There were no reviews for it when I bought it but I liked the look of it so took a chance and I'm glad I did as it has lived up to the description and more.It was easy to assemble, with very few parts and those parts are all made with strength in mind. The base and wheels are heavy duty and the seat cushion is very deep and very luxurious. The material and padding on the arms of the last chair I had fell apart but these ones look like they will stand the test of time much better. In addition to the excellent comfort of this chair, it swivels and tilts extremely smoothly and as the arms are attached to the back of the chair, they tilt with you, which is a nice bonus and often not the case with many office chairs. In summary, this is a very strongly made chair with a wonderfully comfortable cushion, nice looks and very smooth, entirely silent movement at a very reasonable price.

Fabulous, solid, robust, comfortable chair!!
Very sturdy, comfortable, robust chair. Instructions are literally idiot proof. Not a fan of DIY so still took me about 45 minutes to put together! But for most probs less than 20 mins. I’m a heavy bloke (well over 300lb) but it’s perfect for me. Adjustable arm rests are great, the seat is very well padded, it can tilt back too and movement is silent. If you’re self conscious like me that a ‘normal’ chair might not take your weight, and you work from home at least 3 days a week, I’d definitely get this chair, you won’t regret it.

Big Bear of Chair
Best office chair I have ever had at the best price too! Strong sturdy comfortable and well designed. What's not to like about this big bear of a chair.

Really solid and very comfortable
Actually 4.5/5. Really solid and comfortable chair. Really quite easy to assemble. Can sit in it all day - just as comfortable as the very expensive chairs in the office at the company I work for. The seat could do with going a tad higher - only minor complaint.

Comfortable for the Heavy
In the past month I have bought two different desk chairs. I've sent both back due to simply being too uncomfortable after less than an hour of sitting. One of the chairs was specifically made for 150kg people, and I'm only 115kg, but I still felt like I ended up sitting on a rock after a couple of hours. I work from home as an online therapist, I can't be seen squirming in my seat due to discomfort! Finally I found this FLEXISPOT BIG MAX and even though it only had 7 reviews at the time, they were all full of praise and with 15% black Friday savings, I decided to give it a go. I genuinely look forward to going and sitting down now! Think of a standard car seat that is comfortable, but not something you sink into- so not super luxurious or anything, just simply a chair you can sit in for hours at a time and not feel like you've been sitting on a rock by the end of it! The building of it was also super easy in comparison to the other two chairs. It only took around 10 mins.Pros: Comfortable to sit on for hours. Easy to build. Affordable.Cons: I fear with it being so cheap, many won't buy it and they'll stop making it and I won't be able to buy another a few years down the line!!

Really worth the money
Actually, I'd give 5 stars just for the instructions and assembly kit enclosed (Ikea, take note!). I have had increasing problems with my back over the last few years, not least because of my weight. I realised I spend more time at my pc than I had thought, so the basic typists chair I've used for ... 20 years? needed replacing. Very glad I saved up for a heavyweight version - it makes so much difference! so comfortable, supportive and responsive to movement, also the first chair I've used where I do get the benefit of a head rest. Only niggle - it's probably designed for 6'plus; I'm 5'7" so the lumbar support is a tad high and that won't adjust, but still effective. Lookswise it's a dreary matt black but I can forgive it for the support and adjustability for seat height, arms and headrest. Oh yes, and it is pretty big (unpacking the seat was a sharp reality check: yes, your bum is that big!!) - check the measurements to ensure you've got room.

Sturdy but poorly designed. Caused back and neck issues.
The seat is very well built. I'll say that for it. Beyond that, it's bad and possibly even harmful. The back tilts. You can't fully lock it. Even if you lock the recline, the back still tilts. So when you're sitting in it, you'll eventually start to rest more of your weight onto the back-rest (as you get tired) - which is the point of it - but your head comes into forward position, because your back is moving further away, due to the back-rest is tilting. It has left me with significant neck and upper back pain. Forward head position isn't something you want.
