So glad I bought these. I had several parakeets to move on an 8 hour trip. I lined the bottom with Paper Towels. Added small rope perches which attached easily to air holes in the carrier. Birds used the perches. When I arrived at my destination I moved birds to their cages. Removed the Paper towels which made for easy clean up. Birds seemed happy to have a view. I did set up for several weeks before moving to air them out because of plastic smell. It did go away. I think these little carriers are a good value for the money since I needed 4 of them. The Design worked for me because I had limited space in my vehicle. I had done much research and almost spent alot more money but these carriers worked just as well for my needs.

Quality is well made, I enjoy the fact that it can be completely foldable for storage purposes, however, metal tray is not proper size. It slides around so I probably won’t be using that. Other than that it has plenty of space for my parakeets! It has a double door system, one big door, one small door, And it’s great for emergency transport. Perch bar might be a bit low for bigger bird species but it can be easily removed if you want them to simply stand.

I used this to travel from Indiana to Arizona with my cockatiel. It held up very nicely even when the trip ended up taking me 12 hours to get there. My bird is not use to being in any other spaces except for the cage he had been in for 28 years but he was able to make the long trip without being too traumatized in this carrier.

Just received it. Tray is a bit smaller as some people reviewed. Seems ok and well-made but there's a wired smell to it. Birds are extremely sensitive to smells so plan to air it out and see how it turns out.
