JINHAO Fountain Pen Extra Fine Nib, Includes Ink Cartridges & Converter, Perfect Weight, Optimal Flow, No Skips

I hesitated to order this pen because of the low price, but finally decided that at this price I could take a chance. I shouldn't have worried! The pen feels solid in my hand, and works well, no skipping or dry starts. It posts well, though the cap tends to make it a bit back heavy, but not enough to make a problem for me. The ink flows almost too well, I may look for a dryer ink when the included ink runs out. Due to the high ink flow, the extra fine nib writes more like a fine. The cap snaps into place well and feels like it's sealing, time will tell, though this is not a pen to leave in a desk drawer for long periods of time. It is built to be a daily use pen, and I will happily use it as such. Sure, it's not a Sailor or Monteblanc, but it doesn't have their price tag either! 5 stars for the quality at this price point.

The price for this pen was $10, so I'll be honest... I wasn't expecting all that much. So when I inked this pen with Noodler's Ink ND-19066 black and tried it out, I was very pleasantly surprised to see that it was an extremely solid pen. The extra fine nib has very good ink flow and I didn't have to do any adjustments ... wasn't scratchy at all, no skips, even on average quality paper. Very comfortable to hold, nice weight and size, and the little pen "pouch/case" is a nice touch. Can't say anything about the ink cartridges that came with it, but the ink converter worked perfectly. You can't beat this pen for the price... highly recommended.

Pros: Heavy but not too heavy, so it doesn't feel like I'm lifting either a ten pound weight while writing or a feather. The ink-flow is really good and I've only had 1 stop up, causing by using terrible quality paper. It quickly resolved itself after I cleaned the pen and ran water through it to clean the gunk and paper pulp. It's also a thin pen which I heavily prefer and is comfortable for me to write with unlike thicker fountain pens I've used. Overall a really good experience. Cons: I'm not sure if you're supposed to be able to remove the pen nib, but I did... and I can't get it fully back in... so... yeah... I sorta chipped it... which sucks.

The matte black metal finish looks sharp and professional, and the build quality is well above what you'd expect for the price. Whether I'm signing documents or jotting down notes, the pen just feels right — the kind of pen you actually look forward to picking up. Writing performance is equally impressive. The nib lays down a smooth, consistent line with great ink flow. I've had zero skipping or hard starts, and the pen writes well at a variety of angles. On top of all that, it comes with ink cartridges and a carrying pouch right in the box — making it an outstanding value. If you're looking for a no-frills, reliable fountain pen that punches way above its weight class (literally), this is it. Highly recommend.

So far I am pleasantly surprised and satisfied. I wanted a simple no frills fountain pen for journaling etc. Excellent weight in hand, so far it writes wonderfully. Simple and classy design , minus the flash(which I personally appreciate). Directions were clear, easy to read and produced positive result. While I have not tried it, I think it is very cool to include a " bottle converter" which allows you to draw in directly from a bottle instead of using a cartridge. I will update if necessary, but so far I am thoroughly satisfied , and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid, simple fountain pen.

really great pen, 🖊️ i recommend getting the pelikan brilliant black ink too as its the cheapest, it does come with 5 blue 5 black and a converter, its very very good quality, solid metallic body, iridium nib(i got the extra fine point, which is still pretty bold, if you need it to, and can also write super tiny if needed too, i love this pen, its my first fountain pen ever, ive started my journey to writing down my first sermon, and it is literally a godsend pen, i can see this lasting, a LONG TIME, and hey if i lose it, i can order another, 12$ for this 100$ quality pen is a steal…some reviews say its better than their own 200 dollar set…amazing

I like this pen. I like its look - all black, including the nib. It's a pleasant switch from the usual chrome-like highlights on so many other pens. I like the size of it, how it fits in my hand. The barrel is textured, which helps ensure a good grip. I like the weight of it. It feels solid, as though I'm holding a fine tool. That's very impressive, for the $13 I paid for it. Alas, despite all these amazing qualities, I have to ding a couple of stars. Despite what the Amazon page said, this pen does skip. In fact, it skips rather badly. I find I can't write out even a single word without the ink flow just stopping. Of course it's easy enough to get it going again, but to have to do this every word or two is unacceptable. I will note, however, that for this purchase I chose an 'extra fine' nib. Those nibs are said to have low ink flow, which means they're more sensitive to anything that might interfere with how well the ink is moving. This may explain why the skipping is so extreme; however, the fact is, this pen does skip badly. I've ordered another of these pens, except with a medium-sized nib. That may solve the skipping problem. If so, I'll update this review. Update: I have tried this pen with a medium nib. This greatly helps, but it still skips.

Colour of pen faded out within 2 month

Quando recebi o pacote estranhei o tamanho. Quando abri me surpreendi com o conteúdo. Encaixei o cartucho de tinta, aguardei o tempo necessário, como dizia no manual e experimentei a caneta. Simplesmente uma delícia para escrever! Quase comprei outra. Assisti vários vídeos no youtube sobre canetas tinteiro e essa não apareceu em nenhum. Foi uma ótima supresa. E ela tem um peso que agrada. Não é leve como as de plástico nem muito pesada. É uma obra de arte! Recomendo.
