My husband and I have always used a comforter with a duvet cover over it for the past 20 years. I certainly have gone through my share of them. I've had thick ones, thin ones, premium Egyptian cotton and thick cotton flannel. I live in South Florida and it's important to us to have something lightweight. We have a very light weight alternative down comforter her that we needed something light to cover it. I knew that this wasn't a 1500 thread count duvet cover, and I knew that it was microfiber going into it, but that didn't bother me. We've slept with this for a few months now and I have to say that this is the softest, most lightweight and luxurious feeling duvet cover I have ever had. I'm close to 50 years old and I have hot flashes, but this wasn't too hot for me. Did I mention I live in Florida?? Paired with a thin duvet filler, and you've got yourself a perfect match. My husband can't stop commenting on how soft and comfy he is at night and that means a lot. these don't wrinkle, they wash really well and mine didn't come with any stains like some of the reviews mentioned. These were brand-new in the plastic with cardboard in the middle, and were never opened or used until I opened them. You can't beat the price and I will be buying several other colors when I get the chance, believe me. I was not paid for any reviews and I did not get this for free. I paid for it and I'm glad I did and I will be paying for more of them *** Update May/2017= still LOVING this! Please don't listen to the reviews who say they received stained. Ours came super tightly packed and wrapped in cardboard and plastic and not sure how it would have come stained unless they did it themselves. Anyway, ours has been washed several times now and it just keeps getting softer. Doesn't need ironing and doesn't wrinkle. I am in the process of deciding what other colors I want. It's worth it!!

First, let me say that I have a queen size bed, but it has a thick mattress that sits up high. So to cover my entire mattress and drape over the box spring the way I wanted it to, I bought this comforter cover in the King size instead of Queen. Also, I should add that I wanted a "Luxury Hotel" look for my bedroom. So all of my bedding is white. I had already bought the HC Collection 1800 sheets WHICH I LOVE! And so to complete the look, I got a comforter and this cover from Amazon. Now I love white comforters, but they are hard to clean. I also do not like the appearance of the square stitching on a comforter to show. So this cover was perfect to cover the comforter, also, now I just have to wash the cover instead of the comforter. This cover is WHITE. Not cream, not bone, not off white. WHITE. lol. The cover is so smooth that it feels just as good as my HC Collection sheets. If you have not bought HC Collection before, let me just say I don't know how, but when you wash them, it's like they are stain resistant. I spilled something on the cover, didn't immediately blot it up. Did my normal wash, and it came out as if nothing had ever spilled on it. Anyway, I can go on. Bottom line is, if you're undecided, take a chance. The cover is nice, great quality, feels like silk on your skin but looks like cotton, and you cant beat the price. This set is a lovely, soft, comfortable duvet set, with which I am well pleased. The color is true to my expectations from the photos. As noted in other reviews, the material is very light weight, and I am not sure how long it will wear with regular washing. However, it has done well with the first 4 washings, and at the price I paid it should last long enough for the value. I would not recommend this for those whose pets are on the bed, as I do not think the fabric would last long (nails will quickly shred it). The duvet cover does button closed, but has enough buttons that it does not gap. These buttons are sewn as securely as most manufactured pieces. It does not have corner ties for the duvet, but that is not important in my case. My only real disappointment is that the duvet cover is shorter by several inches than my new duvet (which measures 105"x95"). I do not remember the duvet cover size listed where I could compare before purchase, although I did note other reviews which stated this problem, so was not surprised when it was true for me also. I am enjoying the comfort of the cover enough that the size discrepancy is not important enough for me to return the set. Overall, I am pleased with the cost/value ratio and enjoying the cozy softness of this set, although I will not make another purchase without knowing the duvet cover size in the future.

I had some doubts about the quality of this duvet cover from reading some of the lower rated reviews, and because I definitely tend to sometimes think that low cost products are not as good as their higher cost equivalents, but with the cost being so low, I figured I didn't stand to lose much. I could not be more glad that I ordered this duvet cover. It is wonderfully soft. Winter nights where I am have been about 20 degrees below freezing or more, and while this cover is plenty warm, it also breathes well enough so that I don't wake up hot and covered in sweat. I had hoped the burgundy color would be a bit darker than in the picture, but the color is fairly spot on to what is advertised, which I can't complain about. My only complaint is that the buttons on the opening are spaced fairly far apart, but this hasn't caused any sort of problems or inconveniences, it is just my preference. I enjoy this cover so much that I ordered a set of sheets as well. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a good quality, plain colored duvet cover but doesn't want to spend a ton of money. I'll definitely be ordering more covers and sheets for variety. The pillow cases stand up with the duvet cover as well.

I'm not hotsy totsy so this duvet cover suites me just fine. It is so soft that I can't wait to sleep under it directly when I remove my blanky from the bed. I just hope it does not make me sweat b/c I'm a cotton lover. Microfiber is good on furniture so I'm banking on a cozy cuddle. The color (camel) is darker than I expected so if your looking for beige pick taupe instead. Camels are my spirit animal so I am still very happy with the color. The pillow shams adds to the luxurious look and I had two extra pillows to stuff into them and it gives my bed the hotel bed look. I'm hoping they will try some patterns as well to add to the line. Solids can get boring. I really appreciated the directions on how to stuff the duvet and it worked great. Usually I don't get the corners without quite a struggle. This was easy peasy! It arrived early, it's beautiful soft, stitching is fine and it was in perfect condition! Haven't washed it yet but I expect that it will continue to be soft and silky. Love this item. Would buy again.

So picked this up on Prime Day, so got it at a discount. Being that it was Prime Day I skimmed the description and was more focused on price, color, size, and softness. Price was right, as was color and size. Duvet is soft but it is deceptively described. It isn't 1500 count Egyptian cotton. It is 100% polyester microfiber. I really dislike microfiber but have to admit that this isn't too bad. The fabric is super thin. I took a picture to let you know how thin. The lamp light you can see coming through the fabric was located 2 feet away. I have cats with claws so how long this thin duvet is going to make is unknown. Also, due to the thinness of the duvet I would imagine that liquid spills will make it quite quickly to your comforter if you have an issue such as that. There are no ties in this cover and there is no seam along the top which can make keeping your comforter neat within the duvet more of a hassle. Would have given this a solid 4 stars if they weren't so deceptive with their title description. It's a solid duvet for the cheap price you are paying, however, if you are looking for better quality and durability look elsewhere and expect to pay more.

My Bedroom was RED, WHITE, BLACK & a little GREY with modern funky accessories. I decided to shop Amazon for MOST of the new items for the room. I am over the moon with ALL my Amazon purchases. 1. The GORILLA GRIP rugs in soft purple color are fab. Now the rugs do look thicker in the photo, but they are not. They are still very soft & true to the soft purple color. Also ordered the light gray color for the foot of the bed. These rugs grip beautifully to my oak floors without ruining the floors. No rug pad needed. The rugs in place. Shake them outside – do not vacuum. They say they are washable, but I did not wash them yet. They have a 10-year guarantee. 2. 3-Piece OVERSIZE Queen Fresca Quilt Reversible Bedspread (Purple, Grey Vine). See photo of the printed bedspread. I have a HIGH Bed Frame with 16” storage space under the bed. As you can see from the photos, the “oversize” queen bedspread really covers my storage bins under my bed without dragging on the floor, causing a tripping hazard. I am not a fan of Bed Skirts – I consider bed skirts dust collectors. EVERYONE I show the pictures of my new room LOVE this bedspread. It is light weight and folds up nicely and thin, so when not in use it stores easily. 3. Hotel Luxury 3-piece Duvet Cover set Queen Size Lavender. The soft, beautiful lavender color fits my faded grey queen comforter perfect. Washes nice. One minor drawback – not enough buttons at the bottom, so I used safety pins & you cannot see the safety pins between the buttons. See photo for SOLID Color Lavender Duvet Cover. I placed 2 different pillow on the bed so the lovely lavender duvet color would stand out. 4. YGO Blackout Draperies W52” x L4 5” 2 panels per package. Ring Top. Purchased 2 packages of the LILAC Color for my larger window & one package of the LIGHT GREY for my smaller window. I did have to lightly press all six panels – in under a half hour but look how nice they are in the room. They are not truly blackout but that is OK with me. I do have black roll up shades behind these curtains. I am very satisfied with ALL of my Amazon purchases above. I am still deciding on various Amazon artwork to add to the room without overkill. My husband and I needed to get a new comforter for our king bed since our other one was getting old and worn. We had never tried a comforter with a duvet cover so we decided to try that combination. I liked the idea of being able to throw the duvet cover in the wash when it got dirty rather than trying to squish a king-size comforter in our washing machine, which doesn't work too well. I searched quite a bit and decided to buy this set since it comes with the duvet cover and two pillow shams and it was a good price. We purchased the duvet cover set for our king-size bed which includes a king duvet cover and two king pillow shams. We bought the white color and everything is pure white with no other colors on it. Ours also didn't have any stains on it like some other reviewers mentioned so hopefully that issue has been resolved. This set does DOES NOT include the comforter so you will need to purchase that separately. The duvet cover measures approximately 104 inches by 90 inches and the king shams measure approximately 20 inches by 36 inches and the ones we got fit the king pillows we have. These are made in China of 100% polyester. Washing instructions say to machine wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. I didn't have any problems with shrinking when I washed this set. I was excited to receive this set because we've never had a white set before. We have kids and purchasing anything white is definitely a concern but I figured I could wash it and hopefully get any stains out when (notice I said when and not if) that happened. I washed it and put it onto our new comforter. It fits the comforter just fine and there isn't a zipper to close it but there are several buttons at the bottom so you can close it. The material is microfiber which is made of polyester and it's very soft. The downside to an item being made of 100% polyester? It's very warm which is why I rated this item two stars. When I bought it, I hadn't realized just how warm it would be because I thought it might still be okay in the summer with the air conditioner on. With our old comforter (I already threw it out so I can't check to see what it was made of), I was comfortable in the summer. With this one, in the same temperatures, I sweat every night. I'd wake up and both the sheets and myself would be covered in sweat which was definitely gross. I experimented by taking this cover off and just using the comforter. I wasn't hot at all and was actually very comfortable. I often tend to be warm but this made both my husband and me very warm at night. In the winter, it will probably help to keep us warm since our bed is against an outer wall so we get a bit colder. Overall, I'm disappointed in this product but we can still use it in the winter so it's not a complete waste of money. This set only contains the duvet cover and two pillow shams so you will need to purchase a separate comforter. I like the color selections and price but this product is also inexpensive because it's made of polyester. Personally, I would rather pay more money for a better quality product that will be comfortable for us year-round. If you are typically cold, you might be okay with this but if you are often warm, I wouldn't recommend buying this product.

It is lovely and comfortable, colour true to picture. Button closure has to be on side in order for proper fit and that was before washing. Only complaint is that it shrunk. I checked size before washing as instructed but size was different after washing. This item was twice the price of the other ones I purchased and the only one that has shrunk. Shrinkage was not very much and still fits well. Also, wrinkles when coming out of dryer but they disappear shortly after.

Packaging says Queen size, but I ordered King - however I think this might be an international size issue, as it does seem to fit my UK King size duvet OK. The other issue to beware of, is that the product is described as 'Egyptian Quality' and 'Cotton'- but the label sewn into all 3 items says 100% Polyester - which makes them quite pricey for what they are in my opinion. I am not returning them purely due to laziness, although I doubt I will use them much, as I sleep hot anyway and Polyester just makes it worse.

I don't understand such a high rating.... the stitching on the pillow shams is absolutely horrible... for the price anyways... the positive side is, after washing AND drying, it feels great and looks great. As long as you're not examining up close lol
