I received these in a timely before a conference I am attending where they sell things like this for up to $60-$80 apiece. These worked out to around $2 apiece. Of the 10 designs, I liked all but 2 of them (so I will probably be gifting them to someone :)The gold design looks like it is etched into the necklace on the pictures on Amazon's page, but in reality a gold disk was cast into the acrylic so it has a nice glow and I don't think it is going to ever get scratched off or become a dimmer color over time. I like the beautiful look of the design and am glad I won't have to worry about scratching or modifying it.The only thing I don't like about it is that It is on a rather long leather cord which is not very adjustable, and the disk often spins backward so you can't see the design at all. I have tried many things to try to keep it facing forward and so far I have not had any luck. So half the time you can't see the great design anyway....

Gave as gifts at a gathering everyone was excited and months later they are still wearing them.

These necklaces are ok. They aren’t as bright and colorful in person as they are in the photographs that advertise them. They don’t stay face up when you wear them. It’s really a disappointment because I was looking forward to wearing them all the time. As it is, I rarely wear them at all. Think of it like this: when you look at the pictures you see spring, everything all ablaze with the vibrant colors of rebirth. When you actually get these in your hands all you see is the last dregs of fall as it slips silently into a long cold winter. I personally don’t recommend these necklaces.

I absolutely love these things. They are phenomenal. You cannot beat the price and the quality is pretty damn good for what they are charging. I couldn't be happier. They are worth every penny.
