I have used these several times now and I think they do a decent job of keeping onions, tomatoes and even peppers fresh longer. They are easy to use, but not sure how durable they will be. I hand wash them. I susspect they cound be pierced easily.

I’ve been using these for months now and absolutely love them. They are made with a firm plastic outer ring and the center is a stretchy strong membrane that conforms to your food, creating a good seal. It bounces right back when you remove your food. It keeps food fresh much longer, especially things like a tomato you’ve already sliced open. It works sort of like you’d replaced the original peel of the tomato. It’s better than plastic wrap that lets food get slimy. The membrane “breathes” like the original skin and stretches enough to cover a half avocado with pit. The best part is I just throw it into the top rack of the dishwasher and it’s ready for the next use. I’ve included a video showing my newly sliced ripe tomato and onion, and a second video of the same tomato and onion 5 days later. (Sorry, Amazon said I could only upload one video, so I uplladed the 5 days later one.) They are very durable and fit a variety of items. Get these. You’ll wonder why you didn’t get them sooner and you’ll never go back to plastic wrap. Also, I use a lot of vacuum- seal bags and bowls. These are handier for more frequently used items like a tomato you might use only one slice at a time. No wasted vacuum bags each time you make a sandwich or only eat half an apple.

I'm trying to stop wasting so much plastic and food by wrapping half cut onions, tomatoes, lemons, etc in plastic wrap and throwing them into the refrigerator, only to find the hidden in the back of the produce drawer, either dried up and browning or growing moldy fur where none should ever be! This four pack of plastic rimmed interlocking silicone disks keeps things fresher, protects them from the air so their texture and color stay fresh, but also keep smells in so you aren't hit by acrid onion scents when you open your fridge. They're very easy to open and close; the stretchiness of the silicone helps accommodate a fair sized onion or piece of fruit. I've also used it for vegetables like bell peppers that don't fit in these whole, but cleaned and in chunks fit just fine and stay fresh longer. The price on these is right for the value they provide. The bright colors are easy to see in the produce drawer so I don't lose track of them. Another tool in my kitchen that will help reduce the amount of plastic waste AND food waste in my life while saving money on things I would just throw away. Brilliant idea and I will probably be ordering more for my cottage .

The silicone on these will tear if you’re not careful (my kids destroyed one of them the day we took it out of the box) but dish wash well and do a really good job of preserving onions, avocados, and other random fruits and dome shaped foods.

These containers are the absolute best! They keep my vegetables moist. I ordered 4 more as Christmas gifts, and everyone has said they work so well. I love how they keep the refrigerator from smelling like onions. I have washed them several times in the dishwasher, and their quality has held up like new. I highly recommend these!

Absolutely love these storage containers. They are flexible enough to hold larger pieces. Great for storing onions, as there is no onion smell in your refrigerator. Since they can be washed and re-used, it reduces waste from using storage bags. They really keep food fresh.

These were just OK. I ended up returning them because they didn't seem any better than what I already had.

I wasn’t sure about these when I first bought them, but I am very happy with them. I was worried that the film would tear easily. However, they are well made and durable. They take up very little space in the fridge compared to other types of vegetable storage containers. I love how easily they store away when not in use.
