I bought this spring assortment for a puppet project, and it ended up being one of the most useful tools in my kit. The variety of sizes is fantastic — it had exactly what I needed (and a few I didn’t know I’d need until halfway through gluing googly eyes). All the springs are high-quality, sturdy, and well-made — none of that flimsy, bend-once-and-it’s-useless stuff. It was also a great value for the price. Seriously, for how many springs you get, I expected to pay more. If you’re working on crafts, small repairs, models, or weirdly specific puppet mechanics like I was, this set is totally worth it. Pretty good value for the amount of springs you get. This is much cheaper than what you would get at an ACE. I bought them for some 3D printing projects.

Use to make my own Crab Hawk traps -- used to replace the steel ones that rust works well

After finding out that only two pre formed torque springs for my plastic washing machine lids would cost $22 (ridiculous), I decided to buy these and form the ends myself in a vise to match the ones that were used by the manufacturer. Due to my wash machines being in very high humidity climate in the Caribbean, these springs corrode within a few years and need replacing. Hopefully these are made of better quality stainless steel and will last longer. Time will tell.

Ok, I should have listened to the reviews. These things are fantastic and extremely sturdy but they are FAR larger than I was expecting. That's on me though, the product is great.
