LED Flashlight 3 in 1 Uses for Dad, Bright Lumens, Keep Family Safe

The light seems pretty well made for a general use flashlight. Biggest drawback: you can not adjust the focus of the beam. Sometimes you need a very bright, concentrated light beam. Can't do it - so I have to deduct 2 stars.

Negative differences being the SUPERIOR comes without the 3 AAA batteries required, it has two fewer red LED lights (total of 6). Neutral difference is the SUPERIOR on/off push button (located near the top of the flashlight head) protrudes more above the surrounding case than the INGEAR. On the plus side the end mounted magnet seems to hold better than the INGEAR, but probably only because the SUPERIOR is flush mounted where, in my case, the INGEAR is ever so slightly recessed. Otherwise both flashlights perform equally well with their white LEDs.

I was a bit disappointed with this flashlight. I was looking for a reliable, bright flashlight, and the reviews for this seemed very good. I ordered two, and they arrived quickly. Immediate reaction was to the obviously cheap cardboard box they came in, clearly marked MADE IN CHINA. Still OK, so i opened them and realized how light they were despite the aluminum case. OK, let's check out the performance. The light screws apart revealing (no batteries) a cheap holder for 3 AAA batteries. I put in the three batteries, observing polarity, and screwed the light back together. Hit the switch...and nothing. Wow, defective already? Let's try the other one. Put three AAA's in, screwed it together, and wham...nothing. Figuring I must have done something wrong I checked everything out. Tightened it up some more, still didn't work. Still determined to figure it out, I checked out the contact points in the battery connections and tried manually to bend the spring contacts out so the connection would be stronger. Voila, it worked for both of them. So now both lights work. I almost returned the both of them. Now that they work (for now), I just want to mention if you want to use this as a simple flashlight, you have to toggle through the three functions (LED light, flashing red lights, then to flashlight again).The flashlight comes with a note saying you can sign up for free products (or almost free) if you provide a review. Just wonder if the positive reviews are the result of free products for testing.Not impressed.,

Love them for the price you cant go wrong the lantern feature is nice. And the fact you can stick it on your car and it stays is great! Could be a little more solid scared if I drop it might it break. There are so many affordable LED flashlights available via Amazon that it took a while to find the best one out there. I had to send a few back before happily finding this flashlight. Unlike what one reviewer wrote, the flashlight does adhere perpendicularly to the side of a car (as pictured) via its magnet, and it adheres very well, even in the rain. It has a solid construction and a very nice feel and heft to it.I bought two -- should I have to change a tire on a rainy night I'll want both the "area" flashlight and the directional flashlight to move about in the dark. I'm thinking of getting a third so there's a flashing red light going as well. I rated it 5 stars above. If Amazon offered half-star ratings I would give it 4.5 stars (batteries are not included).

I barely used this flashlight - mostly kept it in the car for emergencies and used it once or twice when we lost power at home. It stopped working after just a few uses. Not as durable as they make it seem.

Light is good but battery connection is not. The light often flickers on and off and I have to smack it. Long battery life though.

What a slick, solid, clever flashlight that on the second button press turns into a LED lamp that would illuminate an average sized room and then some! One more press on the button and you have a flashing RED LED light that could save your life if you are stuck on the side of the highway and you hold the red flashing light facing towards oncoming traffic/ or your passenger does- as between your warning flashers and this unique red flashing light that would appear totally out of place- hopefully oncoming drivers would see this abnormality and move over a bit instead of breezing by you w/ a 2' to spare!! This is NOT a high power flashlight but it is certainly as adequate as the ol' standard Mag Lites! Made in China but the quality is evident. If this fails prematurely i will insert an update.
