Easy to install but must use a small wood backer board on a stud wall as the rack screw hole location is wider than a single stud. Very convenient to use as folds up out of the way when not in use.

Overall I am real pleased with this product. I bought 2 and now have our bikes on the garage wall (at long last). I liked the quality, heaviness and overall design as it has some nice features. The most important thing is it has good adjustments to fit both our bike frames, and that's saying something, because my wife's is a step-through sharply angled frame and it still adjusts to fit it fine. And my big bike has very wide handlebars which it adjusted to that as well (away-from-wall adjustment). Again, I'm quite pleased and it looks and feels like it will hold up well.The downside, and the reason I'm taking off one star, is the mounting bracket doesn't have a center hole. The 4 holes that come on the mounting bracket are pointless if one is wanting to go into a wood stud, which is the only way to securely & effectively fasten a bike bracket like this. In no way should someone EVER use the plastic anchors supplied to fasten to drywall, unless maybe the bike was like 10 lbs (unlikely for an adult bike)! They also provide concrete anchors, which should do the trick in a block wall, but forget about fastening these to drywall (as others have indicated), unless you want an accident and a mess!So, my solution was to drill holes in the center of the bracket, and then I used the lag bolts that came with it. I did use the plastic anchors on the outer holes just for a little extra support, but the main weight is on the center lag bolts (again, via holes I drilled).BTW - the bracket holes as delivered are 2.5 inches apart, so there is no way you could even angle the bolts to hit the studs (which are 1.5 inches wide). Another option would be to use a backing board, which would be fastened to a stud.)

Had no problem to install it, pretty simple, very sturdy and seems like it could hold a heavy bike. If you are a person who needs a manual to put something together this item in particular doesn't come with one. If you live in a an apartment and the walls are sheet rocked you have to get a stud finder so you can install it safe or it might make a hole on the wall. Like the seller posted on the description if you need help seek professional help to install it. Reason why I only gave it four stars is that the builder can make the bracket with 6 holes instead of 4 to make it safer.

It may not be the prettiest of the bike mounts, but it’s functional and least likely to scratch the frame.

I love the bike mounts. Originally, I did not receive the wheel straps for one of the orders, but the seller sent them. I would definitely recommend this product.

Cam lever is INFERIOR and will not stand up to frequent (i.e., any more than a one-time) use. Poor tolerances throughout. Product is a waste of good steel. Typical Chinese junk.

I placed it up high in the garage, allowing vehicle doors to open without hitting my bike.
