This is a very powerful, quiet pump, that simply works.

Contents did not include Unions and rings as shown in description. Did not produce the water throughput as claimed. Took a long, long time to self prime. Item was previously used and the basket still contained debris from previous user. The electrical connection was damaged to the point it exposed bare wire, a life threatening situation. Overly noisy.

I’m giving a 2 star rating for the moment . I bought this pump in September of 2024 . It’s not had a lot of use between then and now . It died the other day . Turning it on it just hums and through the breaker . Most of us say hey thats a bad start capacitor ! But it checks out good . I spin the shaft and it starts up . I contacted the company and I’m waiting to hear back . Oddly which I didn’t catch was there’s no warranty info posted on Amazon nor the MF’s web site that I could find . Also it’s my fault that I didn’t realize what this company specializes in which is not pool pumps . Lol Also I’m not sure this pump is rated for outdoor use it sure does not look like it is . So I’ll see how they handle this if there’s no replacement then this review will stand and you should avoid this product without clear warranty info . I will say it’s quiet and its flow rate is good when running . lol wish it was a two speed . Update ; contact with company via email sent some possible repair options which worked . It involves some mechanical skills so be aware . Company response was fast so that’s another plus . Bottom line pool up and running again . 😊

I needed this pump because my swimming pool was full of ash and debris as a result of the altadena wildfires. I bought the 1.5HP 115 VAC with switch . I connected everything and filled the reservoir with water to prime . The pump was obviously used because the water turned brown and I could see dirt particles in the water. I got it primed and it barely moved any water at all this pump was defective! My guess someone returned it and it was repackaged and sold to me ! Ty hat is just my guess what do I know. I ended up paying ALOT more money for a Haywatd … problem solved.

Only lasted 3 mo. We may have used it 8 times

A little early to tell about longevity, but this pump has been running about 3 weeks 24/7 now. We have a 32 foot round, above ground. The pressure and GPM flow has been fine. Hookup was easy, no leaks. The power switch saves me from plugging and unplugging the pump when switching the filter positions. So far so good, packing and shipping was good.

Stay away, I brought one, it didn't work, I reached out to the vendor. They've been giving me the run around and still no solution. My pool started getting green. Please consider your options, Amazon doesn't help with the warranty claim, they refer you to the vendor which now is playing games honoring warranty and or a replacement. Didn't want a refund, just for it to work. Shame on you guys for selling crap. They ask for video, still don't acknowledge the issue. Update: Amazon refunded me

Broken thread nut for electrical cord. Not safe and will have to replace before using. Will update once I set up.

My last pump was also 1.5HP, but I feel this one is stronger... water circulates so well in my 15ft pool, barely had to use any products this summer

Leaking one day after install. They know that this is a problem as they hide a warning sheet in the packaging. This will be sent back today.
