SEEMS TO WORK GREAT
Live on about 1.6 acres...a small herd of deer ( 6-8)cross our property along a fence line twice a day, traveling between the woods and a creek. On the way through they munch on everything we want to keep growing...I have tried many deterrents and nothing has seemed to work. UNTIL NOW..I ordered 2 six packs of these Sat March 27 and they arrived the next day..I followed directions and spaced them about 8 feet apart along a line of shrubs that they were eating on every day...Believe this or not..we have not even seen a deer on our entire property for the last 5 days...Just hope that it continues to work this well...highly satisfied at this point. UPDATE...after 11 days April 8..saw first 2 deer in yard since installing..deer did not seem to go near area where the deterrents were...was heavy rain overnight and raining when I saw the deer...maybe not quite as effective when wet...but still very satisfied....have not seen evidence of deer damage

The design needs help
I put these out, so far the deer haven't come into our pumpkin patch. We have a terrible time with the deer eating our pumpkins each year. Hopefully this will deter them. It's still early to tell. I'll update later. I thought the design was awful, I didn't care for the bent metal rods, you have to bend them out straight (which is difficult if you don't have much strength in your hands). Plus the piece that sits on top of metal rod barely sits on it, it falls right off. So I bent the end of metal rod (with pliers) into a small loop & twisty tied them on cuz a wind of any kind would send them blowing for sure. It didn't smell to me at all so we'll see if the deer can pick up on it. We've already had a pretty good storm since I put them out & I'm very glad I twisty tied them on or who knows where they would have blown to. Since they weren't super expensive I got them to see if they'd help us with the deer problem. I'll update after harvest!! UPDATE: Don't waste your money. The deer have come into the pumpkin patch & are happily eating away! These don't keep them away or hinder the deer in any way at all. Besides the bad design of the metal stake they come with to put the piece on top of (that falls right off if you bump it or the wind blows) this product doesn't work at all. So disappointed.

These actually work! Saved my hydrangeas!
Coincidence or not, I truly believe this stuff works! The deer were destroying our hydrangea blooms. I put a camera on them and watched them just munching away. After I bought these and installed them next to each plant, the deer haven't been back since! It's been about 3 weeks and our hydrangeas are thriving again. Would highly recommend!

Safer Brand deer repellent not working
I bought this deer repellent and put it in our perennials area. After 31 days (refund time was 30 days) the deer started eating 4 different perennials. I called the vendor and they said refunds are handled by Amazon. Since it’s been over 30 days I can’t use the return option. It’s pretty frustrating to to find out how to get a return. I’ve had very good success with my Amazon returns but this one has got me. Any ideas how to get a refund for this product?

Works i think but only lasts maybe about 1 month.
I'm using these to try to protect a small single knockout rose bush. Deer had been eating all the buds before they could bloom. I staked one pod directly inside the bush and it did seem that the deer were finally leaving it alone. About one month later though and all the fresh buds were eaten by deer again. Looks like these things don't actually last "all season" as there are advertised to. Once new buds formed I put a fresh pod again inside the bush and so far the deer stay away. But we're at the 30 day mark and I suppose if I don't replace it soon the flowers will disappear again. So it does seem to work, but not for very long...

OMGThey work!
I have tried everything to keep deer out of my hosta! Finally something that works. It has been 3 weeks now, and we have probably 10-20 deer per day on our property, not a single leaf damaged after placement. There is a mention of it causing issues with dogs and raccoons. My dog initially checked them out, but nothing mor. We have raccoons on the property nightly. They will carry off bird feeders, but have left these alone.

Didn't seem to deter my deer but might have worked for some birds
I read through most of the reviews before purchasing these. According to the reviews it seemed they had a 50/50 chance of working. As for me it almost seemed to attract the deer rather than repel them. I purchased them to see if it could deter the deer from hanging out in my grass where they leave excrement behind. It's not fun to deal with when mowing the lawn. After I put these out there were mounds of excrement right next to these. I see the deer hanging out near them without the slightest aversion. I will say that they do look pretty nice. I also didn't have any issues with the stakes they came with. I was pretty shocked that so many in the reviews seemed to not have read the directions, they were confused that they came bent and it appeared many installed them without straightening them. I thought it was genius that they shipped them bent. The packaging was very nice and sturdy, each station was individually wrapped for freshness. You can tell that care was taken into the manufacturing of these. I have a rope fence I hung some of mine using twine, they look really nice. I put some in the grass using the stakes. Although these didn't seem to bother the deer in the least I did have one unexpected thing happen. As mentioned earlier I have a rope fence on top of each post I have a solar light. The Robbins love to hang out on those and leave tons of droppings behind. I attached these directly onto the rope with twine near each post, ever since that day the robins no longer land on them or leave droppings behind. They still hang out in my yard just no on those posts. Is it a coincidence? Who knows but my solar lights are cleaner than ever!! It's been 24 days now. I can't say these worked for what I bought them for, but I can't say that means they don't work. It looks like they have worked for quite a few people and I would say that based on the quality of the item and care put into them that it's definitely worth a try to see if they will work for you. I followed the advice of others and made sure to use gloves when handling, and I took it a step further and wore a basic mask to make sure I didn't breathe in any of the dust. But honestly the ones I got didn't have a ton of dust and were pretty clean. To install simply open the packaging wearing protection and decide how you want to install these and where. You can hang them they have a small loop at the top where you can tie something to hang them. You could use twine, fishing line, or even a piece of bailing wire, craft wire, or twist tie. You can install them with the stakes provided by taking them out of the package and straightening them and then just push the station down onto it until it clicks in place and you see the wire poking through to the loop where you can hang it. Pretty simple. The ones on the stakes are going to have lots of movement and that design could probably be improved upon, perhaps with some basic plastic stakes, but I get why they used these so that you can get the height you need to deter the deer while keeping the price down. But that being said I felt they were a little too expensive. I was willing to give them a try though.
