I got one that doesn't work. When you put the battery in and plug in the charger the light stays green even though the battery is drained. Some other people wrote reviews with similar problems. However, I noticed that if I pushed the battery in further toward the charging terminals, the light turned red and it began charging. And if I wedge something small toward the end of the battery (I use a twist tie that I use as cable ties- or some duct tape will do too) it will hold the battery pressed against the charging terminal so that it charges... I already used it and it works so I am going to keep it, but my unit is defective, and it seems other people are having similar issues. If yours stops charging at some point, press the battery into the charging terminals and see if that does anything before you toss it in the trash.

Works great. I can use it in the house or in the vehicle.

I was a little dubious since this isn't a Panasonic specific charger, but my Lumix DMC-LX5 battery charges just fine and fits just like it did in the original charger. It was cheap, and I have no complaints.
