Daimon Barber Texture Clay Matte Finish Strong Hold 100g

As a man with a 10/10 lid it’s important to me to keep it looking on top of its game. The packaging is debonair and on point. The smell is dreamy and not too perfumed. The texture is smooth and clay like, which means you don’t need to use a lot; remember less is more gents. I can use a pea size amount and be kept in check all day. Though I like to treat myself to an extra serving in the late afternoon if I’m feeling cheeky. I’ve had a few more compliments on the ol roof rack than usual recently, so I wholeheartedly recommend this product.

Superb styling, Daimon really has best mat clay on the market. Make sure hair is dry before applying!

This product was sent to me as an alternative, as my usual order of Moroccan oil wasn’t available…thought I’d give it a go…lesson learned!!! Moroccan oil is a superior hair product…FACT!!!!

Finding the right product for your hair type is quite often a huge game of trial and error. Most brands will pull you in with their fancy buzzwords and quality ingredients claims, but at the end of the day, if the product doesn't work for you, that's still money wasted. This clay is no exception. Despite the high cost, i've personally found it fairly underwhelming. At first glance, it looks great. Stylish container, nice colour, great smell. However, it's water based, and having not tried water based clay before, i definitely won't again. It spreads like a paste and feels nothing like clay. I've found it weights my hair down far too much (and that's only using a pea shaped amount) and the texture is awful, resembling more of a wax than a clay. It separated the strands of my hair too much, revealing my scalp. Clays in my experience should give the appearance of thicker, fuller hair with minimal to no sheen. This unfortunately doesn't fulfil that. In fact, it gave my hair a 'damp' look, as if i quickly towel dried it. It's such a shame because i've heard only good things about this brand, but i ultimately it wasn't right for me. The trial and error game still continues.

Clay has a nice smell, now wear it daily. The packaging is also glass which gives extra weight, controbutes to the premium price. Definitely a good product.

Hold really nice, not greasy.. brought it for my partner who has skin problems and really helps not dry his skin out or itch his skin.

Geniales Clay, bei dem man wirklich nicht viel braucht. Hält sehr lang. Natürlich etwas höherer Preis, aber gerechtfertigt.

Riecht angenehm und lässt sich gut verarbeiten! Der halt ist leider nicht so toll meiner Meinung nach und lässt dadurch den Preis nicht rechtfertigen!
