I have always noticed the auto start stop makes the trucks transmission feel weird even when not going from a stop. It has other functions that I have not utilized. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Do a firmware update after connecting to it with the app. *by B***D on May 27, 2026* I have a 2021 Corvette Stingray Z51. I put the plug in and updated the firmware after connecting to it with the app. It didn’t connect to the car until I did the firmware update. The car was running so my coolant temp was around 165 degrees so I took it out on the highway where it always goes in v4 mode once I put the cruise control on. Today it stayed in V8 mode full time. So purchase it, plug it in, start the car, open the app, connect to it using the app and answer yes to pair with it, go to update firmware, after the update, connect to it again and connect to your Vette. There is a V8 icon you can press to switch from constant v8 which is default or back to OEM and it will switch to V4 when it wants to. I don’t think you can switch back to full time V8 until you stop but I heard they were working on that. It does work on my 2021 corvette Z51. No check engine light.
