Just like my longer DEWALT track saw tracks.
Just like the longer tracks, these are well-made, but much more convenient due to the shorter length. Genuine DeWalt quality excellent purchase

Works great when flat.
I purchased this to add to my 59" track and have the ability to rip 8' sheets of plywood. The first track came in the factory box and did not appear to be damaged, but it had a slight bow of a 1/4" in the middle of the track and when I tried to attach it the the 59" track the tracks did not align properly. This is were Amazon shines, The return was fast, simple, and painless. I went to Amazon.com and with a few clicks of the mouse I had return labels and had the replacement rail being shipped immediatley and expidited at no charge to me. Amazon would even have UPS pick up the damaged rail, but I was close to a UPS shipping store so I dropped it off myself(I wanted the return receipt.) The replacement rail came in just two days and this time it was shipped with the factory box inside a large oversized cardboard box with air pillows around it. The new track was dead flat and aligned perfectly, and quickly. Great product, and great service thru Amazon.

Awesome for use with the DeWalt router track attachment
I used to hate making dados. I don't have a table saw, so I use my DeWalt router. While dados seem simple and straightforward, I found them tedious and stressful because I didn't have a good technique for getting the router lined up and producing the exact width cuts.I tried a single straight edge, but a small bump or movement would push the router off the guide. I also tried making an adjustable jig, but found that was very tedious to setup and cumbersome to use with the DeWalt router bases.I was very tempted to get the Festool router track setup, but the price for the Festool router special track and attachments is certifiably insane. And then I saw that DeWalt made a router attachment for their track saw rail. Having purchased several Festool products, the price for this rail is a steal. It's dirt cheap for what it is and what it can do. And the router attachment is similarly dirt cheap given what you can do with it.I used the track with my router to make some dados on plywood for a recent project, and it was the smoothest, simplest, and easiest set of dados I've ever made. It takes some fiddling and testing to get it setup, figure out how to position and align the track and router, and dial everything in, but once you figure it out and clamp down the track, you just gently push the router along and it produces an absolutely perfect dado.As far as I'm concerned, it's just like the Festool track setup, as easy to use as my Festool track saw, but at an unbelievably low price that a mortal can actually afford.

Track Connector Not Included
This is a great extension track for the Dewalt Track Saw; however, the product lost one star from me because the manufacturer does not include a rail connector bar. I ended up purchasing the Shop Fox D444 Rail Connector, as a replacement since Dewalt does not sell this component any more. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OJWLNOM/

Perfect for ripping plywood.
The Dewalt TrackSaw is a wonderful solution for ripping plywood. Easy to setup, easy to use and very precise. For my purposes, it was a much better solution than a table saw. Typical Dewalt quality, all good stuff.

Short track in a long world
If you own a track saw you know the struggle is real when you have to make shorter cuts than 59”. The majority of things I cut are under 30” built in shelves, steps etc. You can get a 4’ cut out of it without moving the track with a little finesse. This should come with the saw.

Almost but no cigar!.
Would be great if there were 32mm spaced holes to use a router for shelving.
