CattPlex Pro - Aquatic Herbicide - Kills Cattails, Water Lilies, Grasses & More - Quart (32 Ounces)

I had previously used the product on cattails, mixing as directed. After a few days the cattails started to yellow. But it took a couple of weeks till they were cooked! The Lilly Pads were completely different. First time I’ve attempted to clear them. From reading other reviews I’d remembered a lot of them said it takes time compared to the cattails. I sprayed them along with a few stray cattails. Again after two weeks I didn’t notice much of a difference concerning the Lilly Pads. The cattails were dying. I figured it just wasn’t working or maybe I didn’t mix enough in. After the 3rd week I forgot about it. And then about 5-6 weeks in they started to disappear, big thick roots started to pop up slowly. I actually sprayed the remaining bits a few days ago. For me it was about time. End results are great! This is better than other weed and grass killers. Takes a little longer to see results but you only have to use once. It killed the cattails, the weeds around my barn and the grass and weeds growing down my driveway. Just wish it came in smaller amounts. $133 for this large container kind of costly.

no usable directions for mixing a small batch for use in hand sprayer. after some research I found it takes two table spoons per gallon of water. pricy!

This product is the only thing that I have found that kills cattails and pond weeds around my lake. The only drawback is that is very pricey.

Absolutely garbage. Sprayed exactly as recommended on phragmites, in fact 2 months later the plants look healthier and stronger than ever. New not always better , wish I could get my wasted money back!!!

Doesn’t work as well as the old formula. It does work, but it needs to be applied multiple times. In this photo, the part that is laying over was killed with the original formula. The upright part used the new formula. I’m not certain they are truly dead. Only Spring will tell after we burn off what is there.

Works great on my cattails in my 1.5 acre pond
