Love it! As described. This is a matte black faux leather. I only had to put the legs on and the packed box was light enough for me to carry alone although it’s long, so you made need help due to the size. This is so perfect for my small space and the storage is great. I love that it stays open when needed. There are a couple of elastic bands in the storage space that held the legs and screws, Everything was packed carefully and no scratches or marks and came with super easy instructions. There was no weird smell and feels quite stable to sit on as a bench without feeling like it’s going to fall apart.

We have had this bench for several months and it still looks like we just got it! We bought it to allow our small dog to get up on the bed, in his older years. The fabric looks the same, with no signs of wear. When there have been spills, it cleans up great! The extra storage is nice too!

I bought this for my older cat who is having difficulty jumping up on the bed and it is a perfect height for that. It looks very nice, the legs were easy to install and the lid and storage area are nice. It was packaged very well. I am very pleased with this bench.

I love this storage bench. It comes with nice looking legs but I am not using them. I like it directly on the floor. It is roomy and will hold many blankets, pillows or whatever you have to store. It looks beautiful at the foot of my bed. My bedroom is bedroom/office Iwanted to delineate the bed area - and this does it. The issue is it has a very strong chemical smell inside and a slight smell outside The outside is slowly dissipating but the inside is a problem and I am afraid to put anything in there for fear it will absorb the smell. I emailed the company for advice telling them I live in an apartment and cannot put it outside to air out. And their suggestion was to put i outside to air out. I have sprayed it with enzyme eating liquid and filled it with charcoal bags and maybe it helped a tiny bit. i also keep the top open for hours with the windows open for icy air but the smell persists. I am very sensitive to smell, especially anything toxic, so maybe it wouldn't bother another person.

It's gorgeous in person. Super easy to assemble; just screw in legs with allen wrench provided. It's sturdy to sit on and comfortable. Right now we're using it by our back door, where we take the dog out, so we store the dog's leash and dog jacket, a towel to dry her paws, and husband's blanket hoodie he likes to wear when it's cold outside. Because of that, we probably open and shut lid at least 3-4 times a day, and the hinges seem be holding up just fine, but will update if anything changes.

Prior reviews claimed just had to screw in legs. Not even close to the truth. To my surprise not even pre drilled holes to attach the lid. Ridiculous! My bad and my great disappointment! With a recent house move just got around to opening this box that I thought was going to be a simple setup. I am out of luck because I am just out of the return window. So the only way to use this is to find someone handy with a drill. Ridiculous!! So misleading! I typically not experienced these issues with other small online furniture orders. Lesson learned to immediately open boxs and inspected product prior to return window closing. So sad!

Exactly what I needed. I put all my games in it and now my doggie can get on the bed. Much nicer than those doggie stairs.
