As you might have guessed I got these as christmas decorations. I had icicle lights before but threw them away as thy would not remember the mode I chose so every day I had to reset. These have been tested and work great, looking forward to putting them up, choosing my mode, and each time I turn on they are in that mode. The light is bright and crisp.They do offer 8 modes, but let's be honest a few are crazy stope light modes, for the sake of your neighbors, please don't use those modes (-:These come in multiple lengths to meet your needs and can be strung together.The plug, has a few feet of just cord, which is nice and where I plug in is not where I want the lights to start.

Finally a long and durable light! Love how bright it is! I was looking for a clear white color and couldn’t find the clear color until now! Can’t wait to fully decorate the house.

It seems that lights I've had in the past have terrible problems with hanging and looking reasonable symmetrical in the pattern. These are light and seem to have a sense of quality to them. I am happy with the white color and the length is nice so I am not have a big gap putting lights together with other strings. I am quite pleased with this order.

Great lights for both outdoor and indoor use. I loved decorating our stairways with them! Nice variety of lighting styles—perfect for any occasion!

I really, really like this string of LED icicle lights from MDEDL.With almost 60 feet of ‘icicle’ drop LED’s, the light string reaches from the eaves over our front door all the way across above our double garage. And the remote control is a great addition, making it easy to select any one of the 8 lighting modes available (Combination, In Waves, Sequential, Slo-glo, Chasing/Flash, Slow Fade, Twinkle/Flash, and Steady On).The various functions of the remote give you the ability to choose the mode and brightness level of the lights.The lights came well packed for safe shipping and worked completely and correctly right out of the box.My one negative comment is that these lights are only rated IP44, though it states IP65 well down in the product page. I don’t understand why the 2 different ratings are given, but IP44 means they will withstand dust from wind and water from rain but not waterproof.Overall though, this is an incredible string of icicles lights. They look great, are well made and are very versatile. I recommend them with a 4 STAR rating.(If I receive any confirmation from MDEDL regarding discrepancy with the IP ratings, I’ll come back and edit this review.)

The holiday season approaches, and I've been looking for a nice long string of icicle lights to string across the front of my house. I'm surprised at the problems I've had finding the right lights, but I think I've finally found the lights I need from MDEDL.I had found a long string earlier, only to discover that the feeder wire led to the middle of the string -- since my electrical outlet is at one end of my house, this meant that that string was, for all practical purposes, half the length they had advertised. (And I downgraded my review of them accordingly.) So that's the first thing I checked with these lights, and I'm happy to report they're great!The feeder wire (a healthy 15 feet) goes to the *end* of the string of lights (an impressive 59 feet) which fits the front of my house perfectly! (Since it's not even Halloween when I write this, it's too early to start decorating, so I hung them over my office closet for testing purposes. See photo.) The lights are nice and bright, they have the expected modes of lighting (steady, blinking, flashing, waves, etc.), and they're controllable either by a push-button on the feeder wire or by a remote control (nothing fancy, but it works).All in all, the lights are pretty standard for icicles... except that the wires on the drop-lines are braided in some fashion that's hard to describe (see photo). So the wire itself on the drop line isn't any thicker than usual, but it seems stronger because of the braiding -- I think these lights just might last longer than a single season.So I've got no complaints at all about these MDEDL holiday lights. I've finally found the lights I want, and if you're in need of some nice icicle lights for holiday decorating, I recommend these highly!

Plus, they’re waterproof, so you can leave them up all year long, rain or shine. Great quality and value—highly recommended!

Overall I think these are some pretty nice looking fairy lights with some cool modes that can be controlled via remote. The remote is a little tricky as you need to be within a certain close range which takes away some of the convenience of the remote depending on where you hang it.The main thing that stood out to me is these lights appear more blue in person than in the photos, which for me doesn’t quite fit the look I was going for but it does give a nice icy blue look.

I got the white only set of these lights as we leave them up all year long. 59 feet is long enough to cover the front and side of our duplex house. Our current string of lights does not have the hanging feature of these lights so it will be a nice change.The quality seems good and the 16 foot lead wire is adequate to reach the plug-in without having to back-track any of the lights or use an extension cord.We're very happy with these lights and hope to get many years of use out of them.

Sometimes colored is just too much. These white icicle dangling style are really classy and work perfectly around the balcony and entrance areas.Waterproof standard new round outdoor plug connecter, you can attach 3x sets together using these types as an fyi before there isn't enough juice to light any further.Great light set!
