it's 1600 watts. That is 12.8 amps

Q: What is the reflux condenser?

the reflux condenser can be purchased separately. Or their is a bundle you can purchase with the reflux and boiler together. The reflux condenser is need if you wish to use the boiler for distillation purposes. It is water cooled and is what actually condenses the vapors back to liquid in the distillation process. Hope this helps!
