Drag your passive speakers into 2025
This is an amazing piece of kit for those who have a decent pair of passive speakers. I have the TV going through this via ARC HDMI and it's great having the analog inputs which could be used for a vinyl player (that has a built in phono stage). Sound quality is excellent with a premium DAC and the parametric EQ allows me to get the exact sound I want. There are all manner of streaming services and connection options to play your music. I went from a bog standard Cambridge Audio amp to this and couldn't be happier.

Great amp
Bought this amp to power my new Triangle Br03 speakers. I decided to upgrade from my Q Acoustics M20 powered speakers, which I was using for my TV. For a small amp in size, it is quite powerful (60 watts per channel at 8 ohms), giving a full, rich balanced sound. It also has an app which has excellent features and loads of settings. You have things like BASS management, which is useful if you use a woofer as I do. Most amps don't have this feature. It feels well-built and is quite heavy giving its size (could be because it has large heat sinks for cooling). It comes with a remote which feels and looks quality. And the remote is Bluetooth, which makes life even easier. Great bit of kit, oh, and it has Dolby sound also. And yes it is also a streamer.

A prime day bargain, unmatched sound in this price point
Absolutely blown away by the sound quality, really has transformed my listening experience. Streams direct from Tidal at high quality. The whole user experience and software is top notch. And a total prime day bargain.

Great value
As others have stated the value is great for this streamer. The sound quality is fine, solid if not exceptional. Sound is on the bright side but the room correction and EQ allow you to temper this. For the price I don't think you can get better but am not sure if the sound will beat a £1000 amp as others have claimed (including the science type technical reviewers online). I replaced a £699 Cambridge CXA81 with this, as the Cambridge was defective (with playback pauses through the DAC) and I returned it. But the sound (when it worked) was better on the Cambridge than this Wiim (which the science based reviews online would not have you believe - which points to the problem if reviews not based on the human ear). Happy to keep this as the performance is solid (unlike the Cambridge) but would prefer Audiophile sound quality (which some ambitiously claim for this Wiim). App is solid if not stellar. I run floor standing speakers off this with no problem and like I can stream directly from my HD subscription service rather than having to play from another device.

Great value for money.
Why did you choose this product over others?:Works very well with a slew of connections. Sound quality is first class, especially for the price. There is a forum and the folk there are very helpful.Highly recommended.

So, so impressed
Amazing product, and the companion app is one of the best I've ever used, which is rare (looking at you Sonos.) You seriously won't be disappointed by this as a casual user hoping to get into hifi setups, though audiophiles may lament the lack of native 5.1 etc.

Sound is okay, but delay on the audio
I bought this unit because it would allow me to stream to it as well as have my computer and DJ mixer plugged into it. Initial impressions were that it worked well, the sound was fine (although didn't blow me away even with room correction and it really neutered my sub so had to change some of the EQ settings), and i liked the fact it was a DAC and amp and streamer all in one. I had my PC connected via spdif and my mixer via RCA.I had noticed some slight mismatch on the audio from games but that was livable and can be tweaked in windows.Unfortunately the issue presented itself when I went to have a mix, now I am no Tiesto, I enjoy mixing at home but the audio sounded off. It was only after a couple of songs I noticed there was a delay in the audio coming out of my speakers. This seems to be an issue that in on the WiiM forums but there is nothing that has been done about it, so have had to send it back.It would have also been nice to be able to output to multiple audio destinations at the same time, as this unit does not contain a headphone socket, so I was using an external headphone amp over USB. I couldn't select output via speakers and headphones at the same time. It is a niche request but would have been nice.
