Pitaka iPhone 16 Pro Case - MagSafe Compatible, Shockproof, 600D Aramid Fiber & TPU [Military Grade Protective Case - Black/Grey (Twill)]

Right now I am mainly using Pitaka's Ultra-Slim case for day to day stuff. However, this heavier duty case is very very nice. Though on a day to day basis I'm not too terribly worried about big falls, for travel and other situations where I can't risk my phone getting damaged, this case allows an extra layer of security while still being very slim and light. This case has pretty clicky buttons (at least compared to other full body phone cases I've used) as well as a fairly nice action button cutout which nicely allows for its use. The build quality is very nice as well as the texture on the back (which looks absolutly gorgeous, even in gray). Overall, this is a very nice case if you need a bit more protection without sacraficing weight or beauty.

This case is an absolute standout choice for those seeking quality and protection. While it is on the pricier side, comparable to Apple or other top familiar brands, it’s features make it worth considering. The inclusion of MagSafe is a significant advantage, potentially elevating it to the best case available on the market. Fitment is critical, and this case excels in that area. It snaps in with a satisfying click, ensuring no dust collects behind the phone. The interior back is covered with a felt-like material labeled as “leather,” which effectively shields against small debris. Additionally, the MagSafe “ring” is cleverly hidden inside the interior, avoiding any raised bumps that might detract from the phone’s sleek design or misalign the phone in the case. The case is billed as “military grade,” which translates to the better equivalent of a carbon fiber weave. This provides a rigid frame without blocking electrical signals, seamlessly melded to a TPU interior. This combination hypothetically offers good drop protection, and the fiber weave is visible, as it seamlessly transitions to TPU, for the raised lip and the camera control slope. Aesthetically, the all-black design is cool and understated. The metal buttons, reminiscent of aluminum, work flawlessly over the stock buttons, and there is a pleasant sloped inlet for the camera button instead of a dedicated button. This design choice is helpful for your finger to find the camera button and slide into it, and does not compromise functionality. Overall, this case is a well-fitting and protective shell, constructed from a TPU cushioning layer under a fiber weave. It maintains an airtight envelope for the phone, ensuring both safety and style. If you prioritize quality, protection, and MagSafe compatibility, this case is definitely worth a look. Compared to other Top brands, it simply protects more iPhone, and doesn’t sacrifice thinness in this endeavor. This could be the best case I have ever owned. It’s very nice. Quality is luxury, fitment is glove-like, and the materials are surprising ultra-premium.

I'd give this product a 4.5 star rating if it was an option, but not a 5 star. I've used Pitaka's cases on two of my previous phones, they fit well and the protection on the body side is excellent. This particular model is also very attractive to look at with the blue weave of the composite. When this model loses a half star (ultimately a full star due to the rating system) is that the rubber bumper just doesn't extend far enough towards the screen side. If it was even 0.5-0.75 mm higher, it would have been just perfect, but as it is, there's just not enough height to reduce the potential for screen damage as much as it could have been provided.

A great case: light, gorgeous, protective. Like: sleek, clean, nice color, not too much heavier than the less protective one, and certainly great comparing to other silicone based cases. Good magsafe integration!. Neutral: smooth back so less texture but still good grip. This may actually be a positive, but time will tell if it slips out of my hand or not. I do love the feel of it. Possible drawbacks: The buttons move a tiny bit but are secure ( not a huge deal) and the cut out for the camera button isn’t the best fit but certainly fine. Really minor, but in the interest of thoroughness. One other comment. Like the less protective model, the front of the case does not protrude enough to keep a glass screen protector from being the main point of contact when placed face down. I would recommend either no screen protector (makes sense when getting a premium case such as this) or plastic (also makes senses if you are considering a protective case - you may also want to protect your screen) Overall - a great case! This the first case I actually enjoy using with my phone. I’ve been an iPhone user for 13 years and I’ve always ended up going case-less. The phones are so sleek and ergonomic. Every case I’ve tried has compromised what I love about the device and only lasts about a week before being ditched. This case adds very little bulk to the phone and is also sufficiently rigid to prevent gaps around the edges that can attract dirt and scum. The phone also sits more level with the case than without. This case is lightweight with a nice finish. I really wanted an aramid case, but the buttons on the case did not engage with the buttons on the phone. So it was impossible to use. I disappointedly returned the case the same day I got it.

For those shopping for a protective, yet attractive and comfortable case then this is a win. Look no further. Smooth to the touch, a full delight to handle in hand. All buttons are covered with individual covers giving an amazing tactile feel as if you were handling the phone naked. The camera cutout is perfect. It is recessed around the button so you don’t feel like you are pushing your finger in a deep cutout hole with rough edges. Very comfortable to use. Camera lay on the table protection is always a plus on these expensive lenses. The front of the case has no lip, as you can see in video, you just see my screen protector. Those lips get in the way with your finger slide in so this approach makes it seamless comfortable finger slide experience onto screen. This hits all the high points of a quality case. Full protection with a minimum non bulky design.

I'm a big fan of Pitaka cases and their signature Aramid fiber style. The only downside to their super-thin cases has always been the lack of full drop protection. That changes with this case, it provides complete coverage for the phone without being as bulky as many other protective cases. I got the blue one, and it looks fantastic! The shiny buttons are responsive and work perfectly, plus there’s a convenient cutout for the Camera Control button. Pitaka has also updated their packaging. Previously, the product was easy to access without ripping the box open, but now they’ve made it more secure. To open the box, you need to rip a tab, which ensures it's clear if the product is brand new—a great improvement. One downside is the price. This case is on the pricier side, but I’ve never had an issue with Pitaka cases before. They always last as long as my phone does. Overall, it’s easy to recommend if you’re looking for a stylish, protective case that just works!
