installed and working perfectly to date, every 23 minutes it produces a tray of ice
The Ice Machine arrived on the expected date, received well packaged and without damage, installed and working perfectly to date, every 23 minutes it produces a tray of ice since I have selected thicker ice (with the local temperature at 33C), the amount produced is within the specified range, although it is only used part of the day producing approximately 30 lbs, which is acceptable for my needs. The noise level is acceptable so far, and it is easy to use.

Never Worked
Plugged in new, never worked out of the box. Seems like several folks have said same thing though was fooled by 4* rating. Manual written in broken English and like reading sandscrit. Sounded good in commercial toughness and right size. Noted that there are about 4 models on Amazon (Rovsun, Costzon, Homelabs, Vovor, Happybuy, etc) all claiming different manufacturer names, yet all look exactly the same with same setup and control panel on front. Typical Chinese garbage in the appliance space. Would suggest going with the Scotsman, Horizaki?, or Manitowoc. Yes, more expense and parts but decent. Icemakers prone to issues and cleaning, just part of the gig. suggest whatever you get, you scrap any plastic or speed hookups and use a long braided stainless line for no leak and use fiber enforced drain pipe with glue on end you put on drain hole with clamp, then make tail long to go into your drain pipe quite a way to avoid leaks and to allow you to get unit in and out of your cabinet space to service and clean without disrupting everything. Avoid the $500 "commercial" units you hope would work well. They did give in to the refund after a few emails of broken English telling me to check manual and if water was on and what error code was going on. When you buy, also note dimensions for under counter and depth, as well as what types of ice you're getting (cube, flake, nugget, or gourmet ice). I suggest gourmet for better last in drinks and coolers but note that the bigger the cube, the bigger the clunk noise. if you keep ice in it, the clunk is not noticeable. For you sound folks, put basic insulation batting or styro board on sides to keep it down. Don't block top, back, or bottom for air flow. drill hole saw hole in rear middle of compartment under counter to allow unit decent air pull for compressor fan so you don't burn out fan and it helps compressor be more efficient and cools coils. good luck.

Fantastic ice maker for the price point
This is a great little machine which puts out more ice than I will ever need in my home in a very small footprint. I shopped appliance stores in my area and found ice machines in a very similar form factor, but the ice mechanism was the half-dozen crescent mechanism that fridge-freezers come with and that's not what I wanted.I personally don't think this would look great in a home kitchen - I have mine hooked up in the laundry room sharing the cold tap and drain with the washer. That is fine for my needs. It is great for parties when I want to put out a cooler and possibly top off the ice bin in my fridge dispenser when it runs out.Pros:* It makes ice fast - 45 cubes at a time in a few-minute cycles.* It holds a lot of ice - I could probably fill 5 huge coolers before I run out.* It's not too big - I was able to carry it downstairs to the basement by myself and it doesn't take up too much room.* It hooks directly to a water line - no need to fill it up like some of the more home-oriented countertop ice machines out there.* Easy to clean - every part of the machine is pretty accessible without needing to disassemble. There's not a lot of moving parts since the ice is a gravity drop harvest. That may also mean it is reliable, although I will have something to add about this in cons.* Ice tastes great (I hooked it up with a charcoal filter).Cons:* Does not produce clear ice (probably should not expect that at this price point) although it is clearer than fridge-freezer icemaker ice. I recommend a filter for best taste and clarity.* Does not have a freezer in the ice bin, so ice starts melting once it is produced - I believe this is standard for commercial ice makers. The water water is probably far cheaper than the energy cost to freeze the ice - also means you don't have to worry about ice merging into one big blob.* The drain is a gravity drain. I have a floor drain in my laundry room which I used to begin with, but didn't want that area wet all the time, so I purchased an air conditioner condenser overhead pump which lifts the water to my laundry drain.* Noisy when harvesting ice, there isn't much sound insulation.* This IS a fault of the item itself, not really the seller's fault or the shipper's fault but a deliberate facet of the product's packaging design, but mine arrived dented. The packaging is very carefully designed as part of the icemaker as a product, so that it is within the limits to ship by FedEx/UPS. If this was packaged with more cushioning, then it would only be possible to receive it by freight and probably the cost would skyrocket. So, I understand why the packaging is so thin, and for my purposes (and maybe a commercial kitchen) this wouldn't be a big deal. If you want this for your home kitchen, there is a chance you will have to deal with some drama because the product packaging is not very protective.* Speaking of drama, if you do run into a problem after the initial sale/return window, there was no warranty documentation or even manufacturer contact information included with this unit. If it breaks down, you will either need to buy a new one, or try and find the parts from a Chinese electronics supplier and repair it yourself.Bottom line: If you want a commercial ice maker at a much lower price than you should expect to pay for one, this is a bargain.

Lots of ice
The machine makes a lot of ice. Best if hooked up to a drain. My nephew has one and the melted ice directly drains into his drain - he loves it! Very nice looking machine.
