RubiesBatman Arkham City Harley Quinn Costume

I was sketchy about buying this costume based on some of the reviews, but I'm glad I did despite them. The red on the costume was brighter than the picture, but the top and bottom matched perfectly unlike in some reviews. I ordered a medium and everything fit almost perfect. I was expecting some imperfections due to my size. I'm only 5' tall and 120lbs and more rounded on the bottom than the top. The top fit good ( slightly big, but comfortable to where I can freely move around, but not baggy and weird looking either). But the bottoms are short even for me so you definitely need boots, they fit good on my legs but the waist is a little big so I'll be putting a few stitches in to make them tighter in that area. The choker, after cutting off all the tags, fits well; but the main problem is the belt is substantially larger than the waist of the pants, so that too, I will be shortening with a few stitches. Overall though, the material is comfortable and soft, the costume looks great and is better quality than I thought it would be, and I don't blame the seller for the few issues I have bc it's more due to my size and shape rather than their sizing being off. I would recommend this costume to anyone considering it, it is awesomely hot, and I love it.

So I'll start by saying I wore this to comic con and got SO many compliments. This was my first cosplay- and I wanted to look like I knew what I was doing even though in reality I didn't. I'm going to break down this review into different parts for better reference and I'll be as real as I can be.Sizing:I'm about 5ft tall and am pretty slim with a decent amount on top (got it? got it.) I got a size small and the costume definitely needed alternations! I've never sewn before- but this costume needed taking in BADLY because I'm pretty thin. I had to take in the gloves and pants more than 3 inches! So fair warning- if your thin- you'll need to fix this up if you don't want to look like a clown (no pun intended haha). The length however I had no problems with thankfully! The top ran incredibly small for me. I'd say if your an A cup you'll be okay, but if youre pushing a B-Cup or C-Cup be warned. I found myself squeeeeezzzing into this. Thankfully I didnt break the material- but it felt like I would. The gloves are HUGE and frankly unappealing aesthetically. They are thick and foam padded- I've advise to find alternative gloves.Material/Comfort: While I'm sure most of you know, I'll make this totally clear. The material is not that stretchy. You have been forewarned- sizing is a must haha. While I found the material decently breathable - the foam parts in the top and gloves kill. They are really insulated and I got hot ALOT. (Granted I live in florida so its always terrible in costume outside). As a matter of fact the gloves are so bulky and hot that you may as well just toss them. I found myself putting up my pants CONSTANTLY. Even with alterations. Even with the waistband in the pants (which honestly serves no real purpose because its not a true waistband. Maybe its the material? All I know is walking up stair was a pain and bending/sitting was nearly impossible because of how low cut the pants were. Regardless, I managed. All the accessories have velcro and stay just fine and looked pretty good even as a cheap costume set. (Not if your a professional cosplayer- but pretty damn OKAY).Notations: Be advised the costume does not come with boots/bootcovers and the pants do NOT have pockets. Just to be clear.Overall I am beyond glad I made the choice to purchase this. I constantly had people coming up to me asking to take photos and quite a few people said I was one of the better Harley's theyde seen (although I had makeup/wig/personality help). I got a TON of compliments on my costume and it was worth the small issues I had and the time I put into alterations because the costume was SO cheap. I think in total I spent less than $50 on my cosplay. That's unheard of for one that turned out so well put together.If you want a cheap costume to make a big impression and don't mind doing a little work on your end- get this costume. I'll admit however next time I will search for other avenues simply because of the sizing issues and pants malfunction but for the money it was worth the hassle.

I would have been better off finding a Harley Quinn costume on TEMU. I thought I was making the right choice and going with Amazon, I was wrong. The shirt and pants are sized for toddlers I followed the size guide to proper fitting and still can't get it on. Not to mention the tacky gloves if you would even call these gloves are poor poor. Total waste of $50. Save your money. Nothing appears as how it was portrayed on the site. This was a total let down a less than 2 weeks til Halloween and Amazon and their Halloween costumes are a bust.

I am 100 perecent pleased with this.I am a bigger girl, I am 5'4" and 200lbs. Measuring 32, 38, 44 and I was concerned with ordering because of the sizes. However I was not a fan of any of the plus sized Harley Quinn options.So I took the risk. And Im glad I did.I'll go piece by piece.The arm covers - the thumbs are a bit long on me, but that is it. They go all the way to the crease of the elbow. They are relatively stretchy and don't seem like they will rip easily or anything.The belt - this is something I can NOT give experience with because it is too small. It does feel very cheap, however it doesnt look that way. It is a pleathery soft material. For my size there is anout a 4" gap in the back. However the costume does have 4 belt loops, so replacing it is no issue.The choker - this is realitvely small. It does fit, but if I flex my neck it will pop open (its a velcroe closure). I actually just took a safty pin and connected the ends and it works greatThe top - the breast area is not as defined as shown in the picture. They are larger rounded pieces. But they look great when on. The back of this is solid black and stretchy. Kind of like a swim suit material, a little thiner.The leggings - most of my weight is in my legs, and hips so I was worried about these. However they fit and look great. The material is thick enough I can wear them and not worry about them being see through in the biggest areas.I would definitely reccoment this costume all in all, once on it looks fantastic.

Was what we had expected. Looked great!
