The hat rack works and looks exactly as advertised. I got it for my son for Christmas and he loves it. It holds his hats well and looks great on his wall. He is very pleased and is going to get one to use in his room at his dad's house as well. My only problem is now he feels he needs more hats to fill it up.

For the price, I didn't expect too much. Assembly was very easy. You just need a standard Phillips head screwdriver. Took me maybe 10 minutes if that. The fit between the 2 frame pieces was not exact as you can see but behind the hats when filled up you wouldn't even notice it. The arms come in different widths and I had to bend the arms out a bit to fit my big hats because I have a big head. But it's easy to bend the arms out or in to fit your hats and once you get it sized it works just as it should. The finish is not very refined, like raw cut wood with some wood stain on it. Edges were sharp and not smoothed out but not bad enough to have burrs or splinters. I like it and it fits my needs. Directions were simple and easily understandable. Maybe I've built enough ikea furniture that this is a no brainer. ETA: So while I was hanging this up I also noticed that the 2 sections aren't solidly held as the 2 wooden dowels and the screw plate aren't really tightly fitted so the middle section it's loose and it'll dance like a worm. That's why there are 2 mounting holes, 1 for each section. The other thing is that since you use 4 round head screws instead of flat heads, it'll create a little stand off space from the wall when you put it up. Not much, but it won't lie flat either against the wall. So if you have some similar sized flat heads laying around, use those instead of the round head screws that came with this.

Easy to put together, mount, and looks good. The U shaped bars are not really long enough to hold your cowboy hats. My hats tilt forward a little because they are short. Holds my ball caps well.

I love it, simple top put together, it arrived the next day and its beautiful.

My son loves this. His hats he was trying to keep them on a dresser, stack them and came across this. Best is after riding in the rain they dry nice, and look stylish and fits a teens room. Very easy to put together.

eat product. Bit small width for my large cowboy hats. Easy to put together & fairly solid made. I have an extremely large head, but the hats still fit on it securely.
