These really work well cholesterol lowered because statins didn't suit me i highly recommend.

I cannot tolerate Statins, but being aware of a higher than desirable level of Cholesterol I had to try something, so I turned to plant sterols. Since this brand has a lot of good reviews, I bought a pack to give it a try. Whether it worked or not, is debatable. My total cholesterol dropped just 1%, but the ratio between good and bad cholesterol remained the same - all of which, is disappointing. Since I enjoy a very healthy diet (and always have), it may just be that I'm one of those genetically disposed to having higher cholesterol levels, (which might be why the result was not what was expected,) but, until I decide to have that test, I won't truly know. So, to be fair to this product, I cannot claim it doesn't work, not least because others claim to have had much better results. Nevertheless, being a little disappointed with the results, I started to look in depth at the range of other plant sterol supplements available with the objective of trying something else - and this is where this product lost two stars in my review... One star was lost for the level of bulking or 'filler' items in the tablets - it's full of cellulose and gum products. From what else is available on the market, it's evident these are largely unnecessary. The second star is lost for the inclusion of MCT ('medium-chain triglycerides). The presence of this ingredient is something I can't make any sense of because MCT's are part of your cholesterol count - They are also associated with weight gain and increased hunger in some academic studies. I'm sure the manufacturer has a logical explanation for its inclusion and the dosage level in these capsules must be miniscule, but having studied at least a dozen other plant sterol products, I've found several with virtually no fillers or bulking agents, and certainly no MCT. In summary - From the other reviews, it's evident people swear by this product, but in my humble opinion, I think there are better alternatives on the market.

I have tried many makes that are awful to swallow. I can honestly say. Yes, they are large, but they’re so smooth. They just slide down. I would 100% recommend

ich habe vor 4 wochen einen bluttest machen lassen und beine Colesterin Werte waren sehr hoch. Da die Statine nicht geholfen haben, die ich schon über ein Jahr genommen habe, mußte ich mir etwas anderes einfallen lassen und bin auf die Healthspan Phytosterole 800 mg gestoßen. Ich habe siew bestellt und ausprobiert ich hatte ja nichts zu verlieren und ich muß sagen,das sie zwar sehr groß sind aber ich habe sie ausprobiert und war jetzt wieder beim Arzt und habe nochmal einen Colesterientest machen lassen, und ich war sehr verwundert die Werte waren fast innerhalb der 4 Wochen fast auf dem Normalbereich vor allen dingender Triglycerin Wert war von 365 auf 175 runter gegangen. Ich werde auf jeden Fall die Kapseln wieder bestellen und weiter nehmen
