This is such a fun and simple card game that comes in shrink wrap and is so fun and easy to play. The game comes with an instruction leaflet that explains the rules very well with a diagram and I found this was so easy to pick up and start enjoying playing right away. The idea of the game is simple, you are each dealt out four cards at the start of the game and you put together random heads and tails to make silly looking animals. The whole point of the game is to come up with matching heads and tails, trying to find a matching pair of cards, like the head and tail of a chimpanzee, or octopus, etc. However in the meantime, as you try to create your matching pairs you have these unmatched pairs of animal cards in you hand and it's very funny to see how these animals and images add up together, like the ocoto-eater, anoctopus head and anteater body, etc, you get the idea. The images on the cards are all so funny to look at, they've really been drawn well so you can make some really silly looking jumbled up animals. I love how this game feels so easy and fun to play. The instructions on how to go about playing your turn, creating the proper pairs of animals while also playing the special cards, is just so easy to understand and there's also alternative ways to play included too. Overall compared to some other family card games I've tried, this one is so easy to understand and enjoy right away that I can't help but love playing this. I really do like how the cards look, and they are good quality too, and with the game being so uncomplicated and easy and fun, it's a great and quick game to enjoy with family regardless of age! :)

A fun family card game that can be played at two levels: as a matching pairs memory game for younger players (3+) and as Jumbalup where you make crazy creatures as you race to complete four real animals first (5+). I think this would be an ideal stockingfiller and could be a good game to play after the Christmas meal to keep everyone entertained. It needs 2-6 players and is usually not too time consuming with most games baing about half an hour. Priced at £7.50 at the time of this Amazon Vine review, I am happy to recommend at this price point. Great family fun!

Highly recommend for family game nights!

What I like most about this game is that even very young children can have fun with it even if they can't read and understand what's written on the cards. They just see a funny combination of 2 different animals turned into one. The game is really well-made, The cards are good quality with well printed images on them making them bright clear and appealing. This is a versatile game with several ways to play it not including any games that you invent using these cards. You can play matching games where are you each take a turn adding a card and making up a crazy animal, Then collecting what you need to make four complete animals. You could use it as a memory game where you turn them over and have to find the other part of the animal, We've used it as a game of snap which is brilliant for the little ones. I love how creative this game is, Not only in the multiple ways that the cards can be used but also the way the animals fit together and create a new name which is often very funny. It's a really good way to encourage literacy whilst having fun and laughter. I think this game is good value for money, It's something that will get used again and again and especially if you have little children it's so nice that they can join in.

This is such fun family game and very it’s very easy to understand. We played this with our 9 and 6 year old sons and they got it right away. To play the game, you have to pull cards with randomly front ends and a back ends of animals. You then have to keep going until you find a whole animal. You have to complete 4 animals to win the game. My sons particularly enjoyed making up new animals when putting the cards together. It’s a pretty quick game to play, you could get through a game in about 15 minutes, which is perfect for younger players. The game comes in a sturdy and compact box, making it perfect for taking away on your travels.

My partner and I had never played this before so this was a new experience for us and our 5 year old. The games lasted us around 5-10 minutes and there was plenty of replay value to come up with some of the crazy animal combinations. I do particularly enjoy when a game gets us all laughing as a family so this has absolutely been worth it. I would also say it's not particularly skill focussed, of course the adults can win a bit more but there's definitely plenty of chances for your young one to win without helping them (although in my case I haven't heard the end of it since my daughter beat us 3 games in a row!). Would definitely recommend!
