I have had foam sheets in between my stacked pans for years but hated how it looks temporary and junky while also making it hard to see my pans. Prior to the foam I used felt sheets but those eventually broke down and the fibers got all over the pans. I kept thinking that silicone wastye solution but worried that a sheet of silicone would be too thick. When I found this design with the "star" style that made sense to me - protection without bulk and no fibers. As you can see from my before and after photos, it definitely looks much better than the foam. Also the product is thick without being bulky (thanks to the star design) and their are little noddules on the back side that also add to the protection quality which also means they won't move and slip like the foam or felt did. Also I think the gray color blends nicely with black and stainless pans so it's less of an eyesore in the drawer. Great product, very happy.

Hope that helps you figure out the size.Pros: they do have some grip, and because they are so floppy they actually work really well for mixing different shaped pans.Cons: a little smaller than anticipated, and if stretched they do go white-so does not pass the pinch test.I just bought two more sets. They are a little pricy compared to the polyester felt ones but for nonstick cookware that will just slide around on those: I think it’s worth it. Shame there aren’t more sizes available though.

These are really nice, they work for a range of sizes of pan, and they have these little bumps to keep them from sliding out of place. I would like a set in multiple colors, but they are quite good and effective. My only issue is that I wish they were a bit thicker. I feel like for most pans they are good, but because they are on the thin side I am concerned when putting them under cast iron pans, I feel like they won’t be as protective as I would have liked. Still overall they are decent and reasonably priced.

I had been using shelf liner between my old pots and pans. They worked but had to be replaced often. These are thick and (I expect) long lasting/easily cleaned. The 'gripper' knobbies are nice as they keep the protector from slipping when I remove a pan.

I purchased these to protect pans that I store stacked in a drawer under the cooktop. I also purchased a set at a $1 difference in price. Both arrived on the same day, and as far as I can tell, the sets are identical. I like being able to slip the handle of frying pans through one of the holes, so that when I lift out the pan, the protective pad comes with it. Pads can be cut down to fit smaller pans, but you will need a box knife to cut the hole for the handle. These silicone protectors work much better, and will be much more durable than the much cheaper fabric protectors I purchased previously.

It’s a perfect solution to keep from getting your pans scratched!

Never really thought about needing any kind of cooking surface protection for pots and pans outside of moving day, but after investing in a fancy new set of cookware this seemed like a reasonable investment. I think the grippiness, size and thickness is perfect for what it is.

I would give these a higher rating but the floppy nature can make it difficult to quickly get a pan from the bottom of the stack without the protector flying out or curling up.
