I really love the Lancôme Lash Idôle Lash-Lifting & Volumizing Mascara in Brown. It gives my lashes beautiful length and lift — honestly better than almost any other mascara I’ve tried. It wears so well throughout the day without smudging or flaking, and it seems to last a long time before needing a replacement.One of my favorite things is that it’s a tubing mascara. If you’ve ever done a side-by-side comparison, you know there’s just nothing quite like tubing formulas — they separate and define lashes perfectly and come off cleanly with warm water at the end of the day.The brown shade is a gorgeous, rich color — softer than black but still gives great definition, which is perfect for those of us who prefer a more natural look. I also love that I can grab it on Amazon, where it’s often available at a great price. This has definitely become a staple in my makeup routine!

I have found my holy grail of mascaras!!! I have been on the hunt for the perfect mascara forever. I’ve tried others, but they either flake, get clumpy, or I’m left with the WORST raccoon eyes by the end of the day. Not with this one. Not only is it the perfect shade of brown, but it lasts all day and comes off easily for how durable it is. No more running, flaking, raccoon eyes, or rubbing my eyes until they hurt to take it off!!! The price, I was iffy about, but it’s worth every penny. 10/10 for sure!

This mascara checks ALL the boxes - easy to apply, the applicator doesn’t collect goop, it layers beautifully, and despite extreme staying power is somehow easy to remove.Even better is that it is readily available in a delicious brown that is warm and flattering in every light and shade of skin. Listen up everyone - I get that you want big fat long lashes and think that the only way to achieve that is with inky black mascara but that is 100% false. Play to your complexion and tone and consider a softer color in an excellent formula.I was a ferocious Dior Show devotee for decades. Then after bouts of dry eye and getting tired of the smudgy wand cleaning, I stopped. When it became impossible to find brown in waterproof, I tried a bunch of cheaper alternatives and eventually stopped wearing it for a few years.Never again. This is my new love - forever and ever.

This is the best mascara I have ever used! Very pleased to be able to get brown inside of mascara mostly in black. I'm a redhead so I prefer brown.

I love the natural look of this mascara so much!! The brown shade is beautiful and it separates lashes SO well. There is no flaking when I only apply to my top lashes, but there is flaking when I put it on my bottom lashes within a few hours. That’s the only negative I can say about this mascara. It’s easy to apply, easy to remove, and doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin around my eyes. Also, it appears to be water resistant!

I’ve worn this mascara for over a year now and I can’t rave enough. I don’t get raccoon eyes whatsoever and they’ve lasted me through 2 weddings now where lots of tears have been involved. It’s the perfect shade of brown and it applies so nicely without any clumping. It’s a bit pricier than I’d like but if you can snag it during a sale, do so because it’s so worth it.

As a redhead who has spent years looking for the right shade of brown mascara, I am ecstatic to have found this beautiful, rich gel that complements my face, eyes and hair. There’s no clumping and the gel just glides on. I love it and hope it’s around forever because now that I’ve found it I never want to have to “settle” again!!

There’s no question for me - Lancôme make THE best mascaras & this one, especially because it comes in brown (much more flattering for those over 40 years) is excellent. It’s extremely easy to apply with the curved brush (make sure curve is pointed up ^ not down to help give your lashes a lovely arch). I apply one layer for everyday & two for when I want the more “wow” lash look. It doesn’t flake. Great for sensitive eyes. It lasts all day - full 12 hours I’d say, possibly longer. Very easy to remove with a balm or oil cleanser. There isn’t anything I don’t like about this. It roughly lasts me 4-6 months & I use once a day.

This is quite literally the best mascara I have ever used. It’s really comfortable to wear, washes away easily, it doesn’t flake or smudge, it separates, lifts and adds volume and the colour is spectacular. I can’t believe I’ve gone this long in Life before finding my forever mascara (and I’ve tried them all). This is all I’ll use for the rest of time, guaranteed

I already really loved this mascara in black but the brown delivers a softer, more natural look, but still adds the most amazing length and definition. It lifts the lashes nicely without clumping, and the curved brush makes it easy to reach every lash. Perfect for everyday makeup when you want something a bit more subtle but still polished. My brow technician compliments my lashes every single month (and she also does lashes). One I’ll repurchase again and again.

This is the best mascara. Worth buying it when it’s on sale. It’s usually ten dollars off if you can wait.
