I bought this blouse as a pirate costume. It IS a costume (fairly thin fabric, a little see-through, wear something under!) BUT I had so many compliments in this blouse (and I'm not skinny!) and a lot of young women asking me where I got it as they would wear it as clothes rather than a costume! The styling, cut and button detail are perfect for both pirate and Victorian wear. It comes up a little small, get a size bigger than your usual top size. Felt fab in it due to so many compliments! Must be a flattering fit.

I love this shirt. It fits beautifully. I have a large bust and broad shoulders and quite often struggle to get things like this to fit. When the material has no stretch and is buttoned right up i often find things can be just too tight around my back and under the arms. This fits beautifully and is fitted perfectly at the waist. I am a size 14-16, 5ft 4ins tall and it is even flattering on me in this ivory colour! 😅

It's runs small, but other reviews said that. They didn't have my size, so I order the next available bigger size, and while it's a loose fit, it's not baggy, but loose enough to give some breathing room and room to move around comfortably in it. It looks great with or without the neck piece.

I ordered it in a size 26 thinking this would fit my size 18 frame, clothing regularly come up small from China. Strangely it was massive around my chest, neck, and shoulders but fitted snug around my waist and hip. I have a classic hour glass figure so found this all a bit odd. However the use of a jacket and the good use of pins and tack stitches I made it fit for our dress up event. A nice soft material though

I bought this shirt for a dress up day at work, it fit perfectly though I did buy two sizes up after reading the comments. The fabric is soft and comfortable though is a little sheer, so a top underneath is advisable.

Lovely shirt - soft silky material - small size - but expected that with previous reviews and ordered accordingly. Fab for steampunk!!
