so when i chose this piece, ill be honest, i was expecting the garment to be of the typical quality so often sold here - you know what im talking about aka practically disposable textiles. But OH Lordy! This corset is of exceptional quality and material. The mesh is not flimsy nor is it tissue paper thin, its a strong heavy mesh. the metal clasps in front (i forget what theyre called) are also impressive and it very apparent theyre not going to embarrassingly fail you at the worst moment such as during a date or special occasion. The steel boning is, yup you guessed it - amazing. I could go on and on but ill just sound like a broken record "exceptional", "fantastic", "impressive", "stellar"...you get the idea. But it is what it is, 5 star quality corset. the kind you would easily expect to run you at the very least $100 easy. They all come pre-laced...the PROPER way, so dont go trying to "fix" the lacing , its as its supposed to be. It allows for the top half and bottom half to be tightened individually. the Bottom "set" of left and right laces adjust the bottom, as the top set of left and right laces adjust the top portion. my only, issue - and this is nothing more than my own personal preference, no fault of the garment - is its not quite as long as i would have prefered - and im a short torsoed girl. But again this is my preference and also my own fault for not having chosen a longer model. If you are in the market for a high quality corset for use with waist training, as a shaping undergarment, or even just a fun addition to your wardrobe --- THIS is the brand to go with. hands down. You will not be disappointed. Youre welcome, ladies! (because youll be thanking me when it arrives.)

My wife says, "I love corsets: the feel of being held in, the hourglass look, the sense of history. But most of the reasonably priced "corset" garments I encounter are cheap and flimsy. This corset is the real deal. The front busk latches securely, the fabric is sturdy, it laces up nice and tight. Yes, the sizing chart is accurate. I'm 5'2", 133lb, 29 inch waist and the small is just a bit tight on me, meaning there's a small gap in the lacings that the modesty panel doesn't quite cover, but I'm continuing to lose weight and I wanted this corset to fit me as I get a bit smaller. I'm quite impressed with the Corset Island brand."

Looks OK, but is made with subpar materials. The boning does not seem as though it will hold up. A bit flimsy. The mesh isn't high quality. Price fairly appropriately. Something less expensive for someone that is looking to try a corset.

I have a lot of corsets, and have been wearing corsets for many years. I like mesh corsets because they're breathable, but also realize that they don't tend to wear as well as full fabric corsets with lining. That's just been my experience.This corset fits me well, and the modesty panel in the back is generous so that there's no gap between the panel and the lacing.It can be tight laced, and there's the extra reinforcement of an inner waist tape that helps to provide additional shape and structure.The boning does feel like spiral steel boning, and the front and back steel plates are not so lightweight that I have concerns about them buckling or warping.I am able to get a good reduction in this corset, and expect that it will provide me the full 4" reduction in time, but for right now I'm slowly training this corset to learn my shape.A tip for newer corset wearers - I really recommend using a corset liner or putting a layer between your skin and the corset to prolong it's life. Corsets do not do well being washed, and most dry cleaners don't really know how to properly clean a corset to keep it from being damaged. (In my experience)

I ordered a size small in this corset and my natural waist is 28". I couldn't even get close to being able to hook the front together, even when I loosened the ties in the back all the way. The material of this corset is heavy cotton and the construction of it is very impressive. This is a great quality item, especially at the prices these are offered and I do recommend trying them, just size up and you'll be fine. The one I got will have to go to someone smaller than me, or I'll need to drop around 15 pounds. We'll see about that!

I don’t normally get my correct size of course because I’m not working for the waste reduction, but I decided to give it a try anyway, because I wanted something that was shorter in the torso than the underboss that I currently use and therefore easier to conceal under my regular clothing. That is just as dirty as my other one and pretty comfortable to where I’d say I don’t really sent it that much because it is an extra small, but it still does exactly what I need from both corsets.

This thing is actually pretty good quality, especially considering how cheap it is. I recommend trying it out, just remember to get a size bigger for a looser more comfortable fit. The corset is really well-built and sturdy, with strong bones. It's perfect for waist training. All in all, it's a solid product for a decent price!

Amazing. I got the corset 3 cotton black style and I absolutely love it. It feels so much higher quality than any other corsets I’ve owned. The cotton fabric is soft but durable and feels very comfortable against your skin The bones are not flimsy, they feel strong and secure and I feel like I can move around pretty freely in this. Sitting down with this corset on isn’t a problem at all. I would definitely recommend you order according to the sizing chart. I was worried it might be too big, but it’s just right. My natural waist is 26” and the small was absolutely perfect for me. It really accentuates my curves and helps support my back as well.
