Don't believe the rumors about Silicone Brake Fluid
I hesitated buying a silicone based brake fluid till I found a honest in depth review and evaluation written by a experienced mechanic. Having done many brake repairs he took some older seals removed from jobs and put them in a jar for 6 months completely covered with the silicone brake fluid. When he removed them there was no sign of damage. He went further to say "if anything they were better then when I put them in". Myth 1 - Silicone fluid ruins our seals Debunked. So He replaced his own fluid with the silicone "I was not to careful about getting all the original fluid out so it had to mix some" After 6 more months, no issues. Myth 2 - You can't let them even touch each other (silicone and normal brake fluid) Debunked. You should pour this fluid smoothly to not add a lot of bubbles as it does not release air bubbles as easy as the old fluid. Hotroders all use this cause if it gets on your paint.. nothing happens, no peeling your paint. Also silicone does not attract water. So it doesn't let your brake lines rust from the inside out. Standard fluid in all Harley Davidson motorcycles. Been in my 79; Super Beetle for 2 months, Great no issues at all.

Worked fine in my HD. Large amount for a good bleeding session. I felt that this was a decent price for this amount.

The only safe Brake Fluid on the Market. Period.
Can only add to the accolades for Silicone Fluid. Ignore the Neanderthals with their myths and theories about the evils of Silicone fluid. Just putting my 750 gt Ducati back on the road after sitting for 12 years. The master cylinder had to be rebuilt as it had drained -- but the dual Brembos, after a bleed, work flawlessly. 12 years. Try that with water-sucking glycol fluid. BTW, the fact that Silicone will not mix with water is a huge plus. The unmixed water will boil (turn to a gas) at braking temps and eject through the m/c cap vent.
