Good product works well

For the flow rate, this filter is usefully small and quiet. The three internal media sections are quite small and will require frequent cleaning.The water outlets (either spraybar or wide nozzle) attach into top of filter, but with a minimum water level virtually at the top of the filter body, the outlets are almost level with water - a small vertical extension for the attachments (esp spraybar) would be very useful. Also, I have found the filter tends to slip down, despite the 4 rubber suckers, leading to the outlets becoming submerged and stopping required aeration at water surface; I have to lower aquarium lid onto the mains lead to stop slipping. The price probably reflects the few downsides to this filter, whilst acknowledging that it could be used purely for the UV light.

This filter is very good. So quiet which makes a big difference from my last one which was pretty noisy. The UV Light inside is a great touch to keep algae down and the water crystal clear. Overall I'd highly recommend this product

When we first put it in the tank, which to be honest, was totally green, it cleared the 65 litre tank in around 3 to 4 days.We were very happy with the resultUnfortunately it stopped working a few weeks ago and i noticed the power cutting in and out, when i wiggled the wire. So based on that, i didn't want to risk it, or the fish, so have now removed it.Sadly it's just out of warranty, so don't want to risk getting another one, as our tank, is now green again.Now looking for an alternative, we also now have a larger 90 litre tank.Hope this helps

I purchased this as other purchase was too big for my tank. This is so quiet my fish love trying to swim against the flow. Water has started to clear, it's a good size and well worth the money

Don’t buy.It’s a cheap product for a reason. Was in a small 25 litre tank and couldn’t even keep that clean. Silt built up all over the bottom, it had such rubbish suction. Broke a week ago after it’s been in the tank for no time at all.Save yourself some money and buy from a tried and tested brand.EDIT: Seller contacted me and informed me it’s under warranty for the first year, and offered me a full refund. So while it did break, it’s worth highlighting the returns policy on this item should yours break.

Very happy!!! It is fiddly to get on to clean the sponges but for the cost…. I’m really happy! Its output is really great with the spray bar so it’s really helped with airation and circulation of the tank meaning the fish and plants are happier and there’s less debris on the floor at cleans.If it was easier to open it would be really amazing! But still very happy
