Better than expected,and the price is a great value.

I am a Pilates instructor, and I have been trying to get a few 12" diameter rings for my shorter clients (the diameter you use depends on your height and shoulder width). Standard Pilates rings have a diameter of 14"-15", and other than STOTT PILATES, Peak Pilates, and other professional Pilates equipment manufacturers who charge $40-$70 for good rings, the availability of 12" rings is limited or sometimes nil. So, I have been pleased to find that several companies have recently made runs of the smaller diameter rings, and they are once again available. But caveat emptor! All Pilates rings are not created equal! This URBNFit Pilates Ring feels stiff and fairly uncomfortable on some parts of the body due both to its stiffness and the thinness of the foam pads. The foam pad is about half the thickness of those on more expensive rings. And the fiberglass used in this ring is not comparable in feel to the springy steel rings used by Joseph Pilates in his original magic circles nor those replicated by professional Pilates equipment manufacturers. It is very unyielding. Please remember though that I am being very picky. The product is quite useable (preferably with some intelligent guidance) and looks like it will stand up to repeated use. To address some of the other comments I noticed here, Pilates exercises are not about how much power you can exert on the ring. It is not like trying to bench press the most weight for a title or something. It is about the subtle use of the ring to engage the correct muscles while not engaging unnecessary muscles. Gentle pressure is applied to the ring; you're not trying to crush it! As for exercises using the circle, google "Pilates ring exercises" and you will find YouTube videos, or look for DVDs on amazon.com by putting in a search for "Pilates ring DVD". Many DVDs are available used online or in used book stores. You could also look for a well-trained Pilates instructor in you area to work with.

I’ve made up exercises to use this Pilates ring with, and they are great exercises but the Pilates ring works the best and really Spond the ideas for the exercises. I start with the ring up on my left-hand side overhead I bend down, circling around and back up and around down and back up to the right hand side. Then I repeat it from the right hand side. I also do inner thigh exercises leg lifts, as well as squeezing exercises inner thigh. This Pilates ring is so wonderful there’s no end to what you can do with it and make up with it! Well-built, well-made, and so easy easy to use. That’s all I can say is that it’s a wonderful wonderful product and to buy one. No disappointment .

Game changer in my home work out routine. I've tried too many other apps, programs, etc.... but this has already upped my hone workout routine and I'm seeing and feeling results in a week.

I purchased this wheel a while ago. I started using it and realized that it is smaller than I expected it. The one that I use at my Pilates class is definitely much bigger. I don’t recommend this product.

Durability is awesom! Diversified usage! Quality is grrreat!

The quality of the material is good, the pads are secure and the slightly smaller diameter (12") makes for a flexible but firmer squeeze, which is what I wanted. By comparison, I also tried a larger (14") ring by a different manufacturer and found it was too flexible and shook under pressure. This URBNFit ring seems stable under pressure and offers a good level of resistance. The price-point (£17) seems a tad on the higher-than-average side on Amazon but I feel it is justified by the high quality of the product.
