I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars because they are a little shorter than I expected but that could have been my fault also.I originally had these at 4 stars. I have since moved it to 2. I am a life guard and boat driver, and I will not go near the water without my Tortuga straps. I have thrown the glasses into the water many times, and the Tortuga straps have never failed me. Easily as well made, or better made, than "Croakies". I tested this strap with my current eyeglasses and they floated in fresh water. I have an old pair of "Aviator" style glasses with pretty thick plastic lenses. My pot wasn't deep enough to float these glasses in fresh water so I took them out to the dock and they did float in salt water.
