Great for Classroom Use
Great game! This is easy to understand and simple to play. I adapted it to use in my classroom with phonics skills (i.e. read a word, spin the dial, hang the required number of monkeys).

Monkey Hanging fun
This game is a fun way to continue the barrel of monkeys idea of creating a monkey chain but turns it into a balancing game. My six year old and I really enjoy it. We have lots of fun with it and have played it many times and in different ways. It was easy to assemble, easy to figure out.and well made. I think it's definitely safe for a six year old. A sure fire hit for a affordable gift for kids.

Have purchased as gifts for birthday parties and also use at work with students. Kids love it! Easy set up. Fun for preschool through elementary age.

Overall, A Fun Game
I purchased this game for my 2 year old daughter (almost 3). She loves it! The biggest problem: the magnet is not strong enough! You can only hang about 4-5 monkeys on the tree before it falls. The picture on the box shows many more monkeys hanging on the tree, but it will really only hold 4-5 before crashing down. That being said, my daughter loves this toy, it's great for fine motor skills and learning to take turns, and I love that there are no batteries to change!

My Kids love this game
My Kids love this game. Who would have thought a barrel of monkies could be so timeless. The magnet that holds the canopy to the tree is strong enough to keep itself and the monkeys up but if you push down on it or the monkeys get too heavy it falls. This toy has been great for teaching my kids a gentle touch.

Fun Game
My 4-year-old niece loves the game! It's super simple to teach and lots of fun. My rating has to do with the packaging. The box only opens from the side so putting the game away takes a little longer. I also wish that they provided resealable bags to put the monkeys back in.
