porcelain, suction, dishwasher safe
As a parent, finding functional and safe feeding items for your baby is crucial. The Elk and Friends Kids Porcelain Bowls with Silicone Suction Sleeve have been an absolute game-changer in our household!Pros:Porcelain Material: One of the standout features for me is that these bowls are made from porcelain. It gives me peace of mind knowing that there are no chemicals or toxins leaking into my baby’s food, which is a huge relief.Silicone Suction Sleeve: The silicone suction base is perfect for my baby's high chair. It keeps the bowl in place, even during the messiest meal times, reducing spills and helping my little one practice self-feeding with less frustration.Dishwasher Safe: As a parent, anything that makes cleanup easier is a win! These bowls are dishwasher-friendly, saving me time and stress after a hectic day. No more hand-washing dishes late at night – I just pop them in the dishwasher and they’re good to go.Cons:Breakable: While the porcelain is sturdy, it can break or chip if dropped, so it’s not the best option for overly rough handling. But this is to be expected with porcelain and doesn’t outweigh the benefits for us.Size: Depending on your child’s appetite, you might find these bowls a bit on the smaller side. However, for younger babies and toddlers, the size is perfect.Final Thoughts: The Elk and Friends Kids Porcelain Bowls have definitely made mealtime easier and safer. The combination of a toxin-free material, secure suction base, and easy cleanup makes them an excellent addition to any baby feeding routine. If you’re looking for a durable and functional option that’s also adorable, these bowls are definitely worth the investment!

Perfect for toddlers who throw.
My child loves to throw plates, utensils, food at meal time. These really help to delay her ability to throw the whole bowl. She has since learned to pull it up, but it gives us some time to run over before food goes everywhere. They clean very easy and look great after about six months. Color still intact and functioning same as new. The only issue is some utensil gray marks which you think wouldn’t happen since we use Elk utensils, as well. The bowls are very thick and have survived a few throws. The sleeve is easy to use when taking off to clean.

Just Buy Them!
Absolutely love these and the brand! The colors are great. The service is fantastic. One came chipped and was replaced immediately with faster shipping than the original ones! I highly recommend these. They’re easy to clean, durable, have a heavy weight, and are a step above our old plastic bowls for the kids. They love having bowls and plates like us too.

Looks nice and seems quality, but it’s still a fragile dish for a child
The media could not be loaded. Video and title say it all, but while I do like these, think they look nice, and seem of decent quality, they are still fragile bowls (and plates, if you get those two. We have them and we’ve already broken one, both my wife and I are pretty OCD about keeping things clean and neat, the kids, however, are a different story), they have a heightened likelihood of breaking. For aerving hot dishes to the kids like soups and pastas, it’s probably more ideal than other materials. I’d still stick with something bamboo for normal every day use. It’s also a little annoying to have to take the silicone sleeve off each time you clean them. Parents who come over are always impressed with them, but that’s my point: in theory, they seem nice. In reality, it’s still a ceramic bowl that you’re handing over to a child. I’d say ages 7 and up would be ideal. However, at that point, I’ll just likely give them our normal dishes.

If your toddler struggles with meals, try swapping for this! The suction hold super tight!
The media could not be loaded. These bowls have been a game changer for our toddler. He was refusing to eat off his old silicone plates and I decided to give these a try. He enjoys his food so much more now and the suction on the bottom is super helpful if you have a toddler who often throws their plate while yelling “all done!” Note: we have had these hit the floor several times and they did not break thanks to the protective sleeve! Also love that they are dishwasher safe!

Helpful silicone suction, love porcelain, no plastic
LOVE for my 5 month old who was ready getting ready to start solids and grabs at everything. So far has been easy to clean, smooth edges, dishwasher safe, and not too hot in the microwave.

These are awesome. Had an issue, but they took care of it.
I love the design and concept of these. We were trying to get away from plastic and bamboo (which is full of glue), so we bought these. The batch we got had a bad finish on them and we also got the plates, which scratched easily. Both issues were cosmetic, but I contacted the company anyway since the price is too high to excuse those kind of quality issues. They took care of the issue immediately and even went beyond any expectations I had. They said the issues we had were not to be expected and since they did immediately correct the issue, I assume they're telling the truth. Either way - so much better than plastic!TIP - if you do get these, hand wash the silicone covers. We have the elk and friends cups and put the silicon in the dishwasher with no issues. For some reason with these, they get marked up with hard water stains on the first wash. After hand washing a couple of times, those went away and we've been good since.
