Way better craftsmanship than I expected
I bought this item at what I believe to be a great price. I wanted something to help me mark out mortise and tenons for woodworking. Due to the price, I kept my expectations low, but what I received was actually a beautiful tool. The finish was flawless and everything functions perfectly. The points of the pins are super sharp and definitely get the job done for me. I'm not sure if it's the most accurate at marking, but I've had good luck with it. For the price it is hard to beat. I recommend it.

Beautiful to look at but not useable when it arrived
This Marking Gauge came with the sliding measuring rod stuck and not movable. I had to use considerable force and WD 40 to release. The locking screw will not hold the measuring rod from moving.

replaced the cheapo harbor marking gauge.
Harbor Freight Marking Gauge was not accurate. This one is. The marker/blade/needle/nail is very sharp.Shipping took about 10-15days. I think it's delivered from the oversea. It looks like China makes some decent stuff sometimes.For some reason, I keep using veritas marking gauge however for dovetails.
