Surgical tear away pants.
Nice and warm and soft material. I got size 3 xl for my 5’10” 256 lb brother after a surgery on his leg. They are working great for him. No other pants would work with his boot.

Loved these pants!
I got these pants for my husband but when I went for a walk in the park today, I wanted a comfortable pair of pants to wear. Plus, when I saw these pants I knew that I could wear shorts under them and if I got hot, unzip them for a breather. These pants are comfortable, made of thick material- but not so thick that they are hard to move in. Also, the zipper on them works great. I even unzipped them all the way down (which means they are completely undone and hang from the waist) and the zipper went up and down with ease. These pants have what I call hidden zippers on both sides, and if you don't know what that means (and if I don't know what this type of zipper is really called ;)- it means that the teeth and any parts of a zipper that could be silver- are black, so that they blend in with the pants so much so you can't even tell they are there. There is also velcro on each side of the waist and when you detach it- the pants come completely apart and can be taken off. I will be honest and say that these pants are a little large on me right now (remember they are my husbands and I have gained a slight bit of weight) however that velcro is holding strong ;). It will not come off unless you want it to.The outside of the pants are shiny and when my neighbors dogs jumped up on them today (on brand new pants with dirty paws), since there is a shiny finish to them, the dirt mostly brushed off. With all the features that I love and being able to cool down when I'm hot (by letting my legs get some air), I may keep these pants for myself- and find something else for my husband to wear ;).

Helpful but hand wash only
I used these for a person with balance issues. I could place the rear portion in a chair, have them sit down, and then zip the front portion up. They will be useful for wound care as well. The pants themselves are very soft and comfortable to wear. They run true to size. Unfortunately, these are hand wash only, which is a deal breaker for me.

Super useful for leaving the hospital
One of the folks in our house recently broke their leg. There were a couple of weeks where they had to wait for the swelling to go down enough for the surgery to happen where we just kept them in shorts and it worked out OK but we were a little more concerned for when they would leave the hospital after the surgery finally occurred. Would the cast be bigger than the ones during the period of waiting for the swelling to go down? Would it be too cold for shorts? So we ordered these. It has been a couple of weeks since the surgery now and we're very glad we have them, in fact I just came onto the platform to see if I can order another pair in a different color for some variety. The fabric itself has a smooth texture. The zippers mostly operate just fine, I do find that we have to make sure to use just a little extra effort to pull them up past the bottom of the waistband so the pants fully close. There is a tab at the waistband on either side that does help keep it fully closed too. These are a godsend when you need to keep the bottom open for a large cast or walking boot and make it easy to dress when laying it out on a bed or changing surface then zipping it around yourself or having your caregiver zip it.These have been machine washed and dried multiple times and have not pilled, faded, stretched or shrunk.

Side zippers are stiff but practical
I'm not sure how I feel about zippered "tear away" pants, as you can't really tear them away. You have to meticulously unzip them. Compared to tear-away pants with snaps, this might be more effort. On the flip side, they're less likely to "tear away" at inopportune moments. To be honest, I only ordered these pants because they were the first available option I could find for a soft, somewhat stretchy, somewhat leisurely pant. I didn't need them to be tear-away, and I think the zipper rather detracts from the comfort level, because it adds a good bit of stiffness to the pants. On the plus side, it is completely covered by a fabric panel on the inside, so it doesn't rub against your skin when wearing them.Long story short, if you need pants that you can remove with a side-of-leg-zipper, then these will work perfectly! But if you're able to pull a regular pair of pants on and off without needing the tear-away feature, then there are much more comfortable options.

Perfect fit
These pants are so comfortable and feel so incredibly soft! They are a bit snug but not indecently so. I got them for work (I work in retail) and they move very easily with me. I have no concerns about them tearing or anything like that, and the material is super soft. I highly recommend these for either work or play.

The snaps are strong
The pants fit well. The waistband is strong so the pants cling to your waist without a problem. The zipper is strong and doesn't unzip on its own

Comfortable Tear-Away Pants!
The snap-button design allows for easy on and off, making them super convenient, especially for those with mobility challenges or after surgery. The wide-leg fit and soft material ensure comfort, while the zip-off feature adds versatility. The pants are breathable and roomy, perfect for workouts or lounging. The added pockets are a bonus for carrying small essentials. In X-Large, they fit well without being too tight. Highly recommend for anyone needing comfortable, easy-to-wear pants!
