Bulking agent? Since we're not allowed to state why a person would take these pills, the best I can say as they worked for me exactly the same as all the astragalus I've taken in the past. Although I would normally only have one or two a day depending. They do smell and taste a bit funny when you're taking them. But that doesn't linger. The label indicates exactly how many mg you're getting per dose. This is important. You don't want to use a brand that doesn't standardize their mg / pill.

The supply will last you thirty days as, although there are ninety, the recommended serving is three per day.It's good to see that the only additive is organic hemp flour and the capsules are vegan friendly. I found them easy to swallow, but they are slightly on the larger side. They have a neutral taste, and I've not had any ill effects from taking them. The pouch is stamped with a good long best before date.I understand that astragalus root is a herb that has been used for centuries and may have a great many health benefits, which is why I'm giving it a try. I like the fact that this is a high strength formula supplement with 2100mg of root in each serving. Overall, very good.

Good value, minimal letterbox packaging, easy to swallow

I like the fact they have used a resealable pouch which presumably uses less plastic than a container. The capsules are typical size and easy enough to swallow. I appreciate the fact it is suitable for vegans with a vegetarian capsule. You are getting 90 here and if you stick to the recommended serving size of 3 then they will last you around a month. Pretty good value for money. You get a decent expiry date so more than enough time to use this supplement up. Certainly one to consider with a decent dosage in each 3 capsule serving.

Astragalus Root is supposed to be very healthy but how do you know that you are getting what it says on the packet? You get a certain amount of reassurance here because of the Soil Association certification. I have checked this and it is given for the distributor, Revive Naturals, rather than for Alpha 01.The capsules are standard size and filled with a cream coloured powder which tastes slightly malty, slightly bitter. The use by date is September 2027, nearly three years ahead. The serving is three capsules (a lot of swallowing) so these 90 capsules will last 30 days. They come in a packet which should fit through your letterbox.I don’t expect to notice any obvious effects from taking these but if I do I will update this review.
