I’ve tried a lot of body washes over the years, but this SheaMoisture Raw Shea Butter one actually lives up to the hype. My skin tends to get super dry, especially after showering, but this leaves it feeling soft, moisturized, and not tight at all. In the winter this has been a game changer for my dry, itchy legs. It has a rich, creamy texture and lathers really well without stripping my skin. The scent is warm and comforting—kind of like a cozy spa day in a bottle.I’ve even skipped lotion a few times after using this (which NEVER happens for me), and my skin still felt hydrated all day. If you have dry or dull skin and want something gentle but super nourishing, definitely give this a try. I’m a repeat buyer on this item!

This will be a new item in my skin care regimen. The wash smells great and leaves my skin soft, smooth, hydrated, and moisturized. I will alternate between this and the African Black Soap calm and clearing wash.

I’ve been a huge fan of SheaMoisture for years, and I’ve used their products religiously. I’ve been in love with their Deeply Moisturizing Body Wash for the past few years, especially the rich aroma of frankincense and myrrh. It used to have this warm, sultry scent that made me feel like I was indulging in a luxury spa experience every time I used it. Plus, the texture was absolutely perfect – silky smooth, creating a soft and luscious foam that left my skin feeling so hydrated and soft. My husband was a huge fan as well and loved the way my skin smelled after a shower.However, after they changed the formula about six months ago, I’m seriously disappointed. The new version is a completely different product. First off, the scent now is way too sweet. It honestly reminds me of that overly sugary flavor they put in kids' medicine to mask the weird taste – not the warm, soothing fragrance I loved. It’s almost sickeningly sweet, and I can’t stand it.The texture has also completely changed. Instead of that silky smooth feel, the body wash now has a sticky, unpleasant consistency that doesn’t feel nice at all on my skin. After using it, my skin actually feels irritated, which never happened with the old formula. I gave it a few tries thinking maybe I just needed to get used to the new version, but after three uses, I had to throw it away.Honestly, I’ve never been so disappointed in a product. I use 14 different products from SheaMoisture on a dily or weekly basis, and if this is the direction they’re headed with their formulations, I’m going to have to look elsewhere. Such a letdown!

Love this stuff! I knew shea butter is the way to go for my skin, but it took me a while to finally bite on a product. I'm glad I went with this one.My skin is very sensitive and easily damaged due to a connective tissue condition, but this soap maintains it so well. It cuts oil without drying out my skin, while also not making it too oily (which I find with coconut oil). It works perfectly for me!

I've been using this body wash for several years and always had great things to say about it, I've even recommended it a few times. The improvements to packaging and design has made this pretty bad now. The packaging no longer says Fair trade for starters, the cap is hard to open and since the product is now thicker, it's harder to get out the bottle unless you shake it several times really hard. Going back to the changes to the product itself, the new smell of this is really really bad, and doesn't in any way align with what it used to smell like. The product does not lather anymore and just kind of acts as a lotion that you smear all over your body. Don't get me wrong product does hydrate your skin but it's very very thick and it's probably going to do some damage to your home plumbing like most shea moisture products usually do to mine. I hope these changes and improvements don't come to other math products in their line

This body wash is awesome! It moisturizes so well I don't have to use lotion and has a good scent.
