Stumbled across the Beco place mat on holiday in Cornwall earlier in the year & decided to purchase one on our return as I liked the colour, the rim, but also the shape - as it is much more interesting than a piece of rectangular silicone or plastic.The place mat is excellent at stopping bowls slipping across our laminate flooring, but for me, it excels in catching a lot of the spillage of water when our dog is drinking! We used to place a folded up tea towel under his bowl, which didn't look great & the reality was the water would just soak the tea towel & in turn soak the laminate. This does a much better job at catching a lot of the spillage - doesn't stop everything as our dog's beard catches plenty of water that he then trails through the kitchen. But it does reduce the chance of our laminate getting damp for a long time & in turn start to swell.Loses a star as the colour is a lot darker than the diagrams above - the 2nd picture suggests a much lighter blue that would better match our kitchen cupboards, but as you can see it is darker. Still, its a nice colour & makes for a tidier dog bowl area!Also, bear in mind it will catch dog hair. You can leave it at least a couple of days before you need to wipe it clean.A much more elegant solution than a tea towel & much better than a flat plastic placemat - as the edges help contain water spillage.

I've been using this mat for myself! While having chemotherapy, I needed a hygienic, easy to clean mat for my plate and cutlery. This one is great, and it's also good on a tray if I'm in bed because it's non-slip. It's quite floppy but that's ok for me. Happy with it.

Easy to clean, quick to dry. Good quality. Much better than the thin rectangle things you get cheap. Just what I needed for a kitten who is such a messy eater.

An sich erfüllt die Napfunterlage zumindest in Bezug auf die Qualität meine Erwartungen: Sie besteht aus pflegeleichtem Silikon, ist problemlos unter warmem Wasser abwaschbar und erfüllt ihren Zweck. Sie dient als Unterlage für Futternäpfe in unserem Katzenhaushalt. Wir haben drei Stück gekauft: in blau, pink und grün. Beim Fressen geht schon einmal etwas daneben. Manchmal legen die Katzen das Nassfutter auch vor den Napf und essen es dann von dort aus... Diese Unterlagen erleichtern das Sauberhalten des Fliesenbodens.Was mir nicht gefällt und was zum Abzug von zwei Sternen führt:1. Die Farben sind weniger leuchtend als auf den Fotos. Sie wirken eher matt und sind keine Hingucker, wie ich gehofft hatte.2. Der Preis ist meinem Erachten nach viel zu hoch.Noch einmal würde ich die Beco Pet-Napfunterlagen nicht kaufen. Ein günstigeres Produkt aus Silikon erfüllt den Zweck ebenso. Ich habe auch lange überlegt, ob ich sie behalte oder zurückschicke. Allerdings brauchte ich dringend Unterlagen und ich wollte nicht wieder auf die einfachen Kunststoff-Modelle zurückgreifen, auf denen die Näpfe umherrutschen.
