Hard to say because it is darker than normal. It is solid though.

Does this have the terminal blocks for the wiring like a standard ceiling rose?

It's a while since I purchased this and I don't think it came with the terminal block. I left the existing plastic block in place and this item fitted over the top of it. I used kitchen worktop bolts to secure it to a piece of wood in the attic due to the heavy light fitting I was using. I have just moved house and took this item with me. Luckily in this place there was enough wood in the ceiling to be able to use chunky screws to secure it.

Do you have any that are 125mm dia?

Can this be fixed over the top of an existing ceiling rose base plate?

Hi, Although the physical diameter of the ceiling rose will fit over most standard ceiling rose terminal/base plates, it isn't designed to do this and the screw holes in the rose are likely to be in a completely different position (and therefore won't align) to the mounting holes in the terminal/base plate.
