No primer bulb, yet it starts so damn reliably that I now dislike my other saws! Flow of filtered used motor oil is great, well lubed saw chain and with fresh gas and 1/40 ratio this thing is a beast. It also accepts several other chains from other brands, which is added savings as one of those old saws died and the parts can now go to use as they wear out. FANTASTIC PRICE!

Honestly, I bought this thinking it’d be a “use it a couple times and see” kind of tool, but it’s been solid. Once I got the fuel mix right, it started up after a few pulls and has been reliable ever since. I used it to cut up a some trees we had taken down to build our house, and it chewed through everything without struggling. Plenty of power for firewood and cleanup work. The 18” bar feels like a good middle ground-not too heavy, not too small. It does vibrate a bit (it’s a chainsaw, after all), but not enough to be annoying, and it feels sturdy in your hands. Chain stayed tight, didn’t leak, and nothing rattled loose, which I half expected at this price point. Started on the 6th pull, ran all day -two tanks of fuel and that was all I could do. The saw outlasted me! I will keep it and use t much more in the future. If you’re a homeowner who needs something for storm cleanup, trimming, or cutting firewood and don’t want to drop a ton of money on a big-name brand, this thing gets the job done. You might not need an 18inch saw but their 12inch might be a little smallish-buy one of each at this price. Update: Started with 5 stars, revised to 1 star. This saw, when it started was fantastic. My second time out the recoil spring failed and now I cannot start it. Vevor doesn't sell parts and doesn't provide parts under warranty according to their support. Waiting to see how they remedy this $100 experiment. Outlook not so good. Bummer.

Update: I had to replace the chain from normal wear. Here are the specs for the chain link size. They are also on the chain bar. Just in case you need them, I am providing them here. This chainsaw works perfectly and starts well, and runs well. It handles hardwood perfectly. I am reading that others have had issues. I used this saw to cut down a massive 40-ton hardwood tree, and another 30-ton hardwood tree. It is a workhorse. I hope not to have any issues with this chainsaw. So far, so good. I have another 4 massive trees to take down. As of now, I am confident that this chainsaw can handle it.

I had pretty low expectations for this little saw, but I needed a cheap light weight limbing saw to use around the house. I gave it some tlc right out of the box. First, I pitched the spark plug and put a champion plug in it. I noticed some red sealer drops in the throat of the carb. I gave that a good cleaning. I put a new/different o ring on the gas cap. It fired right up, but I ran it for a couple hours and it wouldn't start. So, I cleaned the fuel lines and dumped and flushed the fuel tank, and pulled it over without the plug in several times to clear its throat. I put the plug back in and it fired right up. I ran it another hour and put it away. This morning, it was cold and I had read reviews about how they wouldn't start the next day. So, I wasn't expecting much, but to my surprise, it fired on the 3rd pull. Seems to be a good running little saw now. I think the main problem with the bad reviews is that they leave bits of crude in the fuel system on them. Once I gave it a good cleaning and new plug, it ran decent. They need a little tlc right out of the box though. And they're never going to run like my stihls, but they're decent for a knock around saw.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would. This saw is the worst piece of equipment I’ve ever owned. It constantly leaks bar oil, the chain pops off during use, and the build quality is extremely cheap. Even with careful setup and adjustments, it was unreliable from day one. I’ve used chainsaws for years and never had this many problems so quickly. Save yourself the frustration and spend a little more on a reliable brand—this one is not worth it at all.

Very surprised. I've only put a of couple hours on it but so far it works great for $100. My husky was in the shop so i grabbed this as a backup. I use a saw probably 3-4 times per week and I'm going to run it exclusively for smaller tress the next couple of months to see how it holds up.

I've been very impressed with Vevor bench and hand tools. I have a few of their tools and found them all not just a great value, but well made. Still, I was a bit skeptical about buying a Vevor chainsaw. I replaced an old Poulan with this Vevor and was blown away. Super easy setup and put it through a full day of clearing Maple after a bad ice storm. First pull start once it's warm. Runs fantastic. Doesn't bog down easily even when you push it hard. The chain did stretch quite a bit after a few hours of hard use but that's typical. Tools were included and came in handy to adjust chain and tighten the bar. Fully recommended. Incredible value.

Absolute Garbage! DO NOT Purchase this item. First off the bar does not appear to be the right one, instructions don't line up with install guide. After three uses the pull cord snapped off. Tried to replace but when you take the assemble apart the coil spring comes off and let me tell you, I am not getting this back on. So now a complete waste of money. Boat Anchor now! In addition the run switch is coming out if it's socket, very very poor quality.... CRAP!

Very pleased with this Chainsaw. Assembly was very easy and all tools needed were included. On first use i am impressed. Ive had some of the high end brands and this saw performs right along with them. I will be putting it to the real test soon with cutting firewood. There was some delay in delivery but that was out of the sellers control. They were very helpful in helping to get it to me. And for the price you cant go wrong. Thank you
